So i work at a place where we distribute Pokemon in northern Europe. We can buy booster boxes at about 120$ (retail here in Europe seems to be about 140$) and all these investing videos popping up in my feed have made me seriously question if i should get a few and just let them sit and cook 😅

I just loaded up on 151. 2 ultra premium collections at $109/ea. and 5 booster bundles for $35/ea. I plan to open 1 ultra premium and 2 booster bundles, gift another 2 booster bundles, and save 1 of each for another time. I’ll probably buy a few more, and maybe an ETB or two, and maybe 2 Japanese booster box expansions (1 to open 1 to keep) depending on what I pull from English. Idk. But I don’t want to miss out on that set if there’s not a big reprint and it ends up being more limited.

I do concrete for a living and I’m 27 and during spring/summer/fall I spend 500-800$ a week on my collection/investments and I feel like it’s never enough and I’m just trying to make up for lost time I just started collecting last may and I have built a very nice collection but so much time constantly buy/sell/trading and I love it but it’s never ending cycle!

Same, I think it just suffered due to the connotations with shining fates and how much of a failure that set was made people stay away from this one. They need to stop trying to get the same hype as hidden fates, it's not going to happen. I do find it interesting that they actually seemed to have noticed the huge sales hidden fates got them and tried to recreate it, but they still haven't done that with evolving skies? Like who is their marketing team made up of? It should be me, I'll make them hella money, I know what collectors want, your most basic pokemon card fan would be able to tell them but they just keep not giving us what we want.

I really enjoy and appreciate your videos. Also really like PokeOz as well. HOWEVER, as much as I agree with you most of the time, I would strongly argue against Hidden Fates being behind Paldean Fates. That is not a knock on Paldean Fates, as I do believe it is undervalued. However, if you were involved in the hobby when Hidden Fates came out, it is just a different set in a different time and SHOULD NOT BE listed behind Paldean Fates. Just my opinion. At some point, and I believe we are getting closer to it, Hidden Fates is going to take a major jump forward!.

Just my personal opinion (we all have our own), I think Twilight Masquerade really isn’t a great set. Greninja is a great card and maybe a couple of the illustration rares are awesome…but overall the rest of the set is pretty underwhelming. The great sets such as Paldea Evolved and Evolving skies are great because they have so many beautiful cards spread out over the set; not just a few great cards. respectfully i still think twilight masquerade trash it's only as high as it right now because the whales pumped it they couldn't find any card besides greninja in the Scarlet and Violet era as the new moon kitty.....so they pumped the frog; the set is still meh tier it'll get a reprint eventually if it keeps spiking rn is not the time to buy it the better plays are temporal forces and paradox rift at $100 a pop all day...personally think paldea evolved is a better play than twilight masquerade just because people actually want to own a shinji kanda karp over a crayola splash frog which shouldn't be worth more than any eeveelution v alt from evo skies it's nearly 3x the price of dragonite v alt and umbreon v alt....if your brain still doesn't click

The Carmine and Perrin are super popular trainers, the Ursuluna and Eevee have very nice art. If you take out the Greninja, Twilight is still the 3rd most expensive to master set... if your brain doesn't click
