Thats how us in the military start. If you touch or talk about cyber you are starting with Sec+ first, period!!!! I have a GRC and incident response background. You should really study GRC because those jobs will never disappear!

I am considering Springboard and she's also recommended their program as well, not that we need that as a factor to decide but they are less expensive and I know people who have attended their DA and SWE courses and recommended the school, but $8,900 isn't cheap either but then again if it works out to getting a 60-70k job its not bad.

Any accredited bachelors degree is better than a boot camp. Edit: read it wrong. Some universities have bootcamps attached to them but other than that they are totally independent. Gotta look up reviews and peoples opinion on them.

I have a degree in Cyber, both the Google it and cyber security cert. Do I need the sec+ for an entry level role? I have yet to even get an interview after 2 months of trying in both help desk and entry level security roles.

You need work experience. Make sure to apply to internships too as those often don't require experience but give experience.
