Some advice I could give to players that just started: -Enjoy exploring as the game progresses. Don't be intimidated on how big the map is. Pick up everything, fight every enemy. You do this, you don't need to farm for materials (I never had to farm for resources with the exception of those locked via Resin). Enjoy the story and the game's scenery. -Don't be pressured on who's meta and CONTROL YOURSELF to pull on banners. Pick who you think is interesting to you AND if the gameplay is to your liking. If you saw a character trailer and you go "hmmm, maybe i should pull", DON'T. As long as you have doubts or you didn't convince yourself immediately, DON'T PULL. -If you're absolutely, strictly, free to play, treat the game as if you're using one character, meaning focus on building one character. The rest of the team can follow, if you're able. Suggesting to have a DPS, Healer, Utility DPS, Utility Combo/Buffer/Healer composition; this composition is Jack of all trades; you can explore, fight bosses, take some abyss levels, IMO. You will get Barbara and Xiangling as the game progress, so you just need to decide your other two. -If you've come to the point that you're grinding, for anything, STOP because you're treating the game as a chore. Unless you ABSOLUTELY need to grind like for your main character or you can tell that you will play for a long time, DON'T grind. You will burn out quick. -Don't be pressured in "missing events" because of the rewards. If you dont want to play the game, don't force yourself or you will also burn out quick. -Don't pull on the weapon banner (unless you have farmed for enough Primos for your main character.) There are a lot of plenty good unlockable 4star weapons in the game. -Don't search online for walkthroughs unless you're absolutely stuck. I see some people online sugggesting to not craft for treasure or oculu compass since you can find their locations online but personally, it feels like a "spoiler" and again, it goes back to looking like chore. Again, enjoy the game and its contents. -Fragile resins are hard to come by; use it at a later Adventure Rank (45 if i recall), and use it for your main character. If i may suggest for farming resources using resin like domains: craft for condensed resins AND don't use it. Recharge your world resin first. Once recharge, then you can take on domains at your leisure. Just do 5 battles each day (since you have max 5 condensed resin) and stop, and recharge your resin for another 5 condensed resin crafting the next day. The 5 resin farming a day is also a way to not burn you out. Hope this helps. I also take fairly long breaks from the game but I always come back when I'm ready to play again.

This is honestly the best advice for a new player imo. Genshin is way more enjoyable when you can explore and complete story quest at your own pace. As a f2p, saving your summons for when you REALLY want that character can make a world of difference as well.

Upgrade just your favorite first (which i assume is your main damage dealer) and then build a party that can support your main character. Who's your favorite right now? Quick tip regarding pulling for 4 star characters: I will sometimes gamble a few pulls on a banner for an important 4* if I need them or a key constellation. What I do is I choose whichever 5* character I want the most out of my options, and I ask myself "If I got this character in 20 pulls, would I still be happy?" Like, I don't love Nilou, but if I had her I would build her and try to put a team together for her. If I get her in, say, 30 pulls, I'm happy. I don't consider that a waste. And if I get my first Kaveh along the way, then bonus. That being said, I only really do this if I'm facing a 50/50. I never gamble with my guarantee on a 5* I don't want. I'm a sometimes-Welkin player, so I can't afford to blow a guaranteed limited 5*. However, if I'm facing a 50/50, worst case is I get my 50/50 out of the way for only 20 or 30 pulls. Otherwise, just be patient. You'll probably get that 4* randomly either on the standard banner off free battlepass and sigil wishes, or randomly off a limited banner. I think I've actually gotten most of my first 4* pulls that way. Best of luck to everyone.

Yes this is what I do because some 4 stars are more valuable than many of the 5 stars in this game. If I did not have Kuki for example I would definitely pull on a Kuki banner if at least one of the 5 stars was pretty decent. If the banner has multiple 4 stars I might like some constellations on, then I might even go to soft pity. Anytime you get a 5 star before soft pity it is still a win. Avoid the weapon banner unless it is an incredible weapon banner where both the 5 and 4 stars are valuable. For a new player the Fav, Sacrificial, Widsith, Stringless, or Tulaytullah series of weapons are extremely valuable. I would also save Masterless Starglitter for specific characters like making sure you have a Bennett and Fishcl. I regret getting the shop weapons as I have only ever used them for maybe a month and never again for over 3 years. These days you can just use Lisa, Fischl, Dendro MC, and any anemo and you have a cracked team right there. Another mistake I regret was destroying the 3 star weapons you can get in the world like White Tassel and Skyrider Greatsword.

Yeah, the important thing to remember: You do not build pity while pulling on a banner. You only risk the pity you already have. Only after the fact, when you are done pulling, can you look upon the "built pity" consolation prize. Also, when you click to pull on a banner for a four star, and you wind up getting the five star, you did not accidentally get the five star. You purposely clicked on something with a chance of getting that five star, and you got it. It might not have been the result you wanted, but it wasn't an accident.

@@AzureDrag0n1 My account is 1 year old and basically only lack 3 chars of 4 stars : Thoma, Yunjin, and Xinyan. There are a lot of chars that can be used for something, even if it's just material compass for specific region. We also need to build them for Imaginarium Theater anyway (just level 70 with some talents, bare minimum weapons, and 2 piece set artifacts) so it's good for new players aiming 4 stars but again prioritize the Tier S first like Xingqiu, Fischl, etc. Destroying 3 star weapon is not actually a mistake BUT you need to make sure they are the common banner trash you can check on gacha history, not White Tassel indeed.

extremely solid advice - the ayato-cyno banner had an INCREDIBLE set of 4 stars (kirara, kuki, xiangling) but I knew that both 5 stars would never be used, so the banner was completely skipped charlotte, chevreuse, mika, C1 beidou and 2 heizou cons were obtained from standard while C0 kuki and C1 sucrose were from weapon banner, so everything can and will eventually make its way back when the time is right. stay strong to have as little regrets as possible so that the unexpected 4 star tastes extra sweet

Tip from a veteran, when pulling for limited character/with premium currency support five stars will add more value to your account compared to DPS character.

That is wrong. All supports have powerful 4* substitutes. Even nahida. Limited 5* dps are vastly more powerful than standard counterparts. The only exception is furina but mostly because she is dps and support in one. Furina and nahida are the only supports i would rank higher than dps and nahida only if you want to build hyperbloom or burgeon. Kokomi, Baizhu, Shenhe are luxury units. Xianyun is niche and requires a dps in the first place. Especially in the early game a good dps will carry you through everything. I had to use c0 noelle because the game didn't give me any dps until ar 45 or something. That wasn't fun and I had furina who was almost all my damage. Baizhu and kokomi are complete luxury pulls.

Some things i wish i did differently are: 1. Do your darn story quests! I ignored them for the longest time and now i have this huge backlog of them thats pretty overwhelming (also hangout events aswell ive only done like 3 of them 😭) 2. Dont be afraid of a challenge! I didnt finish the drgaonspine world quest until i was in inazuma because i just hated the sheer cold mechanic and the challenging mobs there, i wish i did it sooner 3. Dont pull on the weapon banner! Im strictly f2p and i've been playing for 1 year. I have never used a single pull on the weapon banner because its just a huge scam atp, focus on getting the characters u want first 4. Dont get caught up in going for constellations for 4 and 5 star characters! Spend ur pulls on getting new characters instead because over time you'll naturally get 4 star constellations from pulling on other banners 5. Dont neglect your weapon and talents! They by far have the biggest damage increase for the lowest resin investment! 6. Choose wisely which characters to level up to 90 first! Characters scaling with attack or hp dont get a significant damage increase from getting to 90 while characters like kuki or kazuha get as much as 30% damage increase. 7. Dont neglect weekly tasks like bounties or bosses, they have very valueable rewards! (Im very guilty of this ☠)

A small tip as someone who didn’t download until a few days before Sumeru’s release: it suck not knowing all the lore of previous limited events, but it’s not the end of the world. At some point, they’re probably going to be brought up again or you can just watch a KZbinr play through them. I was so stressed because I didn’t know certain things when I was playing, and I eventually stopped playing for a little cause I just didn’t like the fact I was missing out on the lore (I’m a lore player lol). Don’t take missing out on limited events so hard, you’ll learn what happened eventually, especially if you go out of your way to.

watch the "demo" of the characters and see if any of them catch your eye. Once you know the chars you like, you can then plan when are they expected to appear in a banner and save primos in advance. Don't let people tell you "this character is not meta", as every single character in genshin is "usable" as long as you put the investment and effort into those characters.

I started genshin in 2021. Recently I have had problems getting into that account and so I made a new one about 3 months ago. I am currently draining every single primo from every region. I do not go to a new region UNTIL everything is maxed. Including exploration, quests, and my reputation rank. I am sitting at AR 50, with exploration in only Liyue and Mondstadt. I am working on clearing the newer place of Liyue and then I will move to Inazuma. I say my strategy is working quite well.

For oculi, the best not tiring way is to get them as you go and find the rest with the craftable locator. Using the interactive map for that can be painful since it's not in sync with your progress so it will lead you to empty spots and there are loads of them.

What I do is explore the map freely, and when I stumble upon an oculi, I just mark the location on my map (not the interactive one, the in-game map). Then, when my regular exploration is over - I turn to the interactive map just to find the oculi I'm missing, referring to the marks on my in-game map for the ones I've already found. I find this the best for myself, because I'm not gimping my exploration experience, and when I'm done there are just a few oculi left so going back with the interactive map is pretty quick. The only problem is the limited amount of marks you can do on the in-game map. But new regions come in parts, so you don't get all the oculi in a single patch so it's usually fine.

I always hear people insist on using the interactive map and marking down everything, and I get why that would be preferably for some people. I was the same way a while back because I never wanted to miss anything. But now I'd have to disagree as to its importance. At least for me personally, constantly marking down and tracking things makes exploration feel like a chore and it takes me out of the game. Mark down all the oculi for Mondstadt and Liyue, absolutely, because they're important for stamina. But past that, if you're someone who delights in immersive exploration and stumbling across things, I'd argue you'd be better off not using the interactive map. I use it almost exclusively for farming routes nowadays and I enjoy exploration a lot more. Not only that, but it gives actual importance to the treasure compasses and oculi resonance stones which, if you enjoy traveling and farming for resources in the open world like I do, gives you more to look for and collect to craft them. Ultimately, you're given tools within the game itself to find almost everything. Realizing that and embracing it has made me love exploration and even pushed me to upgrade my reputation levels more than ever.

Personally i'd also use it for puzzle chests that doesn't show up from compasses. There are a few cryptic chests that u probably wouldn't think of doing the thing u need to for said chests. A great example is the chest u get for breaking the pots that doesn't glow wen using elemental sight

The issue I find with chests is that ones the gizmos don't show... the ones that get spawned by things. And it sucks when you've gotten 90% of the chests, and now you have to explore step by step, checking each one, to try and find the missing ones. That said, I don't use the interactive map. I don't like having to mark stuff, it not really showing the locations well, that sort of thing. I use video guides on youtube.

Id actually say dont do it as early as possible.I remember I tried to do it when i was...around ar 16? i dont remember the exact ar but it was around that point and i failed.miserably. I think you need to have your characters a little bit built first, and understand the game mechanics ect. If you want to get it over with, atleast get someone to help you with it in coop.Dragonspine is a really annoying location and as someone who has it maxxed, the annoyance can make it HARD sometimes.

I did so many of these things correctly back when I started at 3.7 on Alhaitham rerun banner. I pulled for him at the time bc I was thinking I should go for characters that are known to be good and I got it. I built characters around him first but at the same time I was trying to build a second team which was ok cuz there was a lot of contents before to get exp mora and primos from it was just tiring. I would find myself feeling burnt out when I should have been playing for fun but I guess thats just me haha. Building around Al was a good decision for me as I progress through the game I realized how important some 4 stars are compare to what I initially thought. What I wish I did do or knew was how massive the value some 4star characters has and some 3&4 star weapons are really good not just for newer accs. Also ER matters, I was only thinking of getting cr and cdmg but getting the right amount of ER for some characters was a game changer for me.

People always say don't wish on the Standard Banner, but I prefer it. I like to only use characters in game that I've met in story, so some new 5 Star from Natlan is kinda worthless to me. Plus, all the 4-Stars have been plenty satisfying for just running around the world and doing stuff, or spending resin.

The reason why people say that is because anything on that banner can be obtain losing 50/50 on limited ones, and its not like you get only Natlan, Kazuha and Raiden are from Inazuma ( just next region after Liyue )

When starting out-and in my case, since starting Genshin over-I would recommend is your first team comp(s): 1) has a decent DPS. (Yanfei, Chongyun, Heizou and Noelle are all great 4 star DPS characters that are cost effective and powerful when built properly and synergize with the support characters you have also built) 2) supports that help with combinations of elemental reactions, shielding, healing, and/or faster map traversal. The supports I personally built are Barbara (even though I HATE playing her. She’s my necessary evil 😢), Fischl (don’t care for, but necessary), and Layla (awesome since I love shields, and discovered double cryo crit rate increase teams with her), and Faruzan, (Anemo SHRED). I have Bennet, Xiangling, and Xingqiu waiting in the wings in need of better build investment. 3) and at least one character that easily mines ores. Those would be all claymore characters, 4 star Ningguang (plus she can show ore locations on mini-map), and 5 star Zhongli. Yanfei has served me well as a DPS that I can do elemental reactions with other key 4 star support characters like Barbara, Dendro Traveler, and Fischl (that was my team comp when Sumeru came out. Could use that team everywhere in Sumeru). I still play with essentially two different team builds, with some characters getting left behind as a few new ones came in. Noelle got left behind for Xiao when I got him. Now Xiao is left behind-but still well built-for Wanderer (who I’ve name Ren).

I'm just starting a new account because my main is pretty much done, and I'd recommend just to pull whoever you want (unless you're planning on playing meta), that's what I did on my main and, even if I don't have the best characters, I have the ones I enjoy the most. And also, not rushing is very important - taking breaks, and just doing whatever you feel like doing that day (exploring, doing quests or just log in to do dailies/events) and, even if you don't want to play for a week or a month or for as long as you want, that's completely fine. And well, that's pretty much it 💓 Oh, and also, remember to try and do the weekly comissions so you get the rank higher. I was ar55 on my main and I had completely forgotten about those. I had to work a bit to get to level 10's as I had still to do the 4 regions available at that time.

@@vel5785 I just used both of them together in Imaginarium Theater, and Venti was on field just as much as Kazuha, and more use at grouping enemies because his burst lasts longer. Also, I have a permanent Venti team in my party setup with Fischl, Yoimiya and Kokomi, because abyss floor 12 is like 0.01% of the game.

That's why I check multiple videos, to have an idea of who to look out for. I figured out for myself that Amber isn't horrible but get I that she's not ideal for fast combat. But she is great for beginners. Bunny helped a lot when facing scary opponents. I also learned about how Lisa is usually support. I get why. But she became my DPS as soon as I got Xiangling. I really enjoy overload.

Everything I was reading said Amber was a weak character and not worth anything, but I enjoyed playing her and decided to "waste" my time and resources on her. Once I decided that, I stumbled across a bunch of videos and commentary saying how under-appreciated Amber was. :)

I have a good tip for collecting the Oculus' for each area! As you're running around and you come across one as soon as you pick it up open up your map put a marker on it and tag it "found". Then at some point when you have time you can go to the interactive map and just mark off all the ones that you've already gotten. It's so much easier than doing it the other way around and using the interactive map to mark them all in the game in the first place imo.

One thing for the eager new players to take note of is: ignore the abyss, or at least the lower floors. The lower floors are better for more seasoned accounts, so just concentrate on building a party that’s strong enough for the overworld first. Build your supports (get an archer). Build a 4 star DPS to start with. Another thing: really restrict your pacing by going with commission count and the bp count - if you max out the daily commission count, then stop there for the day. I plan out my daily genshin stuff based on what I can do for the bp. (The second tip might be more applicable to older players tho who try not to get burned out but maybe newer players wanna try this too)

The point about leveling up your 4* and supports needs to be said more. I cannot emphasize enough how much impact having a fully realized Bennet and Shinobu is to an account. Bennet's value is easy enough to see but after I built Shinobu, it's like I unlocked an entirely different part of the game when using her with dendro teams. The same goes for other 4* in other elements like Rosaria for budget freeze teams and Sucrose for those that don't have Venti or Kazuha. As a side note, I even built an only 4 star team with Heizou, Thoma, Xinqiu, and Shinobu so I could play the Avatar in the game. There's a lot you can do to make the game fun to play without needing to break the bank so don't sleep on your 4 stars people.

as an f2p, this is actually untrue/ semi true and here is why (dont follow if you are new/dont yet have 3 seperate abyss clearing teams): 1) when you play in the long term, you will gather a lot of characters and only piling up their cons will not be as effective because limited 5* cons are rare. 2) there is only so much optimization you can do with artifactmaxxing (i made that term up) 3) a lot of potential is usually locked up behind weapon banners 4) its 2 50/50's is not that bad because you see, if you get a standard weapon you will be guarenteed to get a limited weapon later, which you can make the most out of in weapon banners with great weapons, such as the hutao/neuvi banner, where getting either of their weapons is quite the upgrade to almost all characters 5) a few characters like alhaitham, cyno, emilie, itto, baizhu etc value c0r1 more compared to their c1 6) a few weapons make great value: freedom sworn, elegy's end, wolf gravestone, sobp are great for buffing your team whereas lofi,homa, tome, scarlet sands staff, aqua and mistsplitter make great dps (and by that i mean they are the only more better universal 5* options if they arent these then dont bother pulling) 7) fashion impact 8) its soft pity starts much faster and the hard pity is 80 no im not trolling, having 2 staves of homa and 2 freedom sworns and a lofi (i also have the wanderer bell but havent gotten a character to use it yet) really makes the spiral abyss easier to beat and i gathered them overtime. the only bad pulls i got from the weapon banner were 2 aquila favonia and a skyward atlas but it works a charm on bennet so its alright, and yae miko's 2nd best in slot if skyward (hoyo pls give me wgs) Edit: fate points are just a failsafe if you are actually trying to get the only 5* at once and "right here right now emerge" instead of using your fates on it slowly only on good weapon banners, the 50/50 loss carries over but if you win the 50/50 on a limited weapon it means you won and case closed and the slim chance that you "win" the limited weapon you dont want twice, it can help you. needless to say if you have gambling addiction then seek professional help

HOWEVER, if there’s one thing I’m proud of myself for, is that a refuse to become addicted to gambling. The best way to enjoy is to do the Archon quests in a region and after that finish the major world+story quests of that region before going to the next one. I always followed this and trust me it is rewarding. It is a far more better approach compared to doing the archon quests of all regions 1st then moving onto the world quests. You will get mad if you binge play all those voiceless world quests later. 😅

My biggest tip is don’t focus on the meta. The meta is mostly for players who grind the abyss or the new witch fighting trial thing or if you have a really rich account to begin with. If you just started, your characters will suck it’s meant to suck and you can’t compare yourself to day 1 or paying players. And even at higher AR, don’t be pressured to pull for allegedly strong characters. Most characters are pretty strong if built right and you don’t have to be doing 500k dmg if you’re just a casual exploration or story focused player. Just pull for who you like, build a team of characters you like and you’ll do fine.

Im kinda of a new player, my tip is: meet someone who already plays it. I actually started the game around the time Amazon still gave rewards on the prime gaming, but i dropped at the start due to the HUGE headaches from the amount of strange numbers at the character screen (seriously, the devs should block a lot of the things there, and slowly explain it as you level up) Years later, im back to the game (maybe on the best moment possible), and because of a friend who's hypeing/helping me about all the stuff. Farming, exploring, and making secondary missions is way better with a friend than by yourself (and easier since he's high level 🙃)

For 2:50, some players tend to prefer to not have another app/tracker open whenever playing games. If you are one of them, I would still suggest to pin your collected oculuses (or any other notable collectible) using the in-game map so that once you reach a point that you want to 100% your statues/trees/etc., you can just open up the interactive map once then you can reflect your pins there. That is personally what I do since I do like finding things naturally while I explore. It's only when I want to 100% things would I use the interactive map to find the few ones that I missed.

It is sure much more fun when you can't use primos on one character because you're saving for someone who MIGHT come 2 patches later. Also, a tip from someone who started over. Abyss can be hard for new players even on lower levels, but having Xiangling is a blessing. The moment you see her on a banner, you pull and hope that you get her. There is this whole hysteria about her being on way too many banners, but than again new players always come and they might just need her to be able to do certain challenges.

My advice: As soon as you can turn your world level down, do. Just one level. Do main quests and world quests until you are blocked by your AR before doing the Adventure Rank tier quests. There's so much in this game if you are focuses on min/maxing it you will miss out. So don't stress yourself. I'm F2P and I wish on both the banners (though I only use my primogems on limited banners) because I get more whatever-the-heck-it-is (the middle redeem option) than I can spend on the 5 wishes of each type we are limited to a month. Yeah, don't spend your primogems unless you are excited about the 5-star on the banner, but also...you'll get more primogems. Search for redeem codes. I have a lot of great characters (building an A team and a B team up fully) and I have spent ZERO.

Umm no, “never wish for 4 stars” is not a stupid advice. It’s not that 4 stars aren’t good or anything, it’s that 4 stars characters are never guaranteed, unlike the limited 5 stars which has a pity guarantee, 4 stars also as a pity guarantee but it was split into 3 evenly, you only has 33% chance of getting 4 stars you wishes. I’ve seen people going through to get C2 on a 5 stars until they got the 4 stars they wanted.

I am a day one player, but I took a year long break during a really tough time in my life. I'm so glad I stepped away from the game.. I was majorly burnt out from playing so often, felt like the time I put in was not rewarded (crappy artifact RNG mostly, ngl). I left when Sumeru was released and came back for Neuvillette (lost my 50/50 to Mona, what a welcome back lolol). My love for the game is back to what it was when I started all those years ago. Now, I have a friend who is just starting the game. Hearing his experiences of the quests that I forgot about makes me wish I could experience it all again for the first time. But at the very least, I get to experience the new regions, have plenty more quests to fall in love with. I'm looking forward to more years with this game.

About the monetary pointers: Gacha is designed to be predatory. Control is absolutely key, and if you can maintain control in whatever situation you are (f2p, semi-f2p or even semi-whale with a set spending habit) it's fine. Once you give in to the gambling it starts to become risky. Having said that, there's nothing wrong with spending some if it gives you additional joy. Either as semi-f2p (Belkin and/or BP) or the occasional Crystal pack. I am semi-f2p and have bought the lower top-ups (up to 15), which I bought primarily to reward myself for special occasions (and no, finishing the work day is not a special occasion). This keeps it fun and gives a bit more chance to get stuff you want, you aren't outright buying it. Tl;dr. Control.

I actually started a fresh account back in January, and thanks to a lucky set of rerun banners and 50/50s, managed to get the top two rows of Jello's 'must have' characters (with my 'pick two' being Xianyun and Raiden) in under 6 months. While I largely agree with the whole 'pull who /you/ like' thing, Furina, Raiden, Nahida, Kazuha are the best characters to put in a team to allow you to field whoever you want as an onfielder (I'd argue Xianyun too, with how well she pairs with Noelle, so long as you can find a geo battery, or any other claymore/catalyst user who benefits from being able to plunge attack). Sure, Bennet, Xiangling, Fischl and Xingqiu are also amazing supports, but constellations aren't easy to get, and at C0 those 5-stars are better. Thanks to just a couple of them I spent those 6 months using _Barbara_ as my DPS (she still shreds through enemies with a full EM build with Raiden as support), and more recently I've been running Yanfei-Raiden-Furina-Nahida. I'll even swap Yanfei for Amber when the combat gives me space to charged-shot. Yes, my favorites are being carried by their supports, _but I get to play them_ .

You also arent gonna have a lot of money at the start. If you see a gold color bubble, run it til your world resin is depleted and than stop. Its expensive to level up and ascend your characters, their artificats, and weapons. Therefore, you can gain some money because at the start, you're limited. From my experience at least. Pick up anything and everything. Even the pincones. You'll need em. Food heals you but your character can only eat so much. Find a healer or start playing the game like its dark souls. Once your character is full, no food, no food means no health, no health means death.

3:49 when I first downloaded genshin I didn't do any world quests at all but one time raiden had her banner and I really wanted her so I decided to do random world quests and the first quest that I decided to do was the Aranara quest. I sat down doing that shit for to weeks straight and couldn't finish and now it's left incomplete and I'm terrified to do any other world quests

i actually did just start playing in may of this year! and i’m really feeling the don’t rush it advice lol. i just finished sumeru’s archon quest and even though i still have pretty much all of the story and world quests and exploration to do, i hesitate in starting fontaine because it’s the last nation/archon quest i have left before natlan and i don’t want to accidentally speedrun it like i did with natlan. i also wish i had more people telling me not to spend primos on standard but that’s common sense now. had someone encouraging me actually 💔

I started playing the game 2 months ago. I bought the welkin and the season pass and I have been really lucky with pulls so far I feel. Got Furina + her weapon and a couple of half - very decent characters. I'm running Rosaria/Furina/Barbara + something for most of the quests and open world stuff and they have been carrying me HARD. Freeze feels really OP for just general stuff and questing. Currently AR55 and never had any problems with difficulty since I had Furina. I am enjoying all the sidequests, exploration and such and it gives a steady amount of Primos so I'm hoping to get Yelan and her weapon during this rotation. It's probably gonna be way more difficult as f2p once I have most of the quests done and explored most of the world, but that is a problem for future me. So far I dont regret having started playing the game.

I would definitely play the earlier regions with more like paying attention and having fun because i was honestly just tryna get to fontaine thats why I came back to genshin but I really didnt feel like it was as fun as it could've been. Oh and also I spent all my fragile resin at once when I didn't have enough for the pyro regisvine and then I was just walking around with 2k resin all the time. uhhh yeah so just have fun with it, the whole point of the game is to have a good time and enjoy it!

I'd say, if you want to collect every single chest don't use the interactive map but follow a video guide instead, the map is sometimes confusing and misses a few chests. Another thing is to take note of every single world quest you complete because the game doesn't keep track of them and in the reputation you won't find all of them.

Im a new player! Just played a bit over a month ago and I have to say I did mostly good based on this vid 😂 I did waste some fragile resin and didn't use my daily resin earlier on but hey, I was learning. And considering I JUST pulled Nahida and Hutao recently, I'd say the 4 stars are not bad at all and I still play using 4stars now at AR 45. My current fave is Chevreuse. And I didn't spend a dime yet because luckily, my cousin is a veteran player and I knew from her about the banner reruns. I play in mostly a relaxing way, and didn't reach Inazuma until AR 43! I was more content running (and climbing) around exploring that I actually reached NATLAN (and literally everywhere else) before Inazuma. Needless to say, I died from fall damage a ridiculous amount of times because my stamina was so low.
