In Russia, New Year's is a holiday of gift-giving, and I would know that because I am Jewish and we give gifts in my family for both Hanukkah and New Year's, whereas we don't celebrate Christmas because, well, we're Jewish. But anyway, for most people, New Year's isn't for gift-giving which I understand, but also, uhhhhh I think it is, so :3

It's been a godawful day in a whole arc of awful, and I opened youtube to turn my brain off of all the negative thoughts and this just completely reset my brain. Even if it's just through a screen, there's so much power in having a positive role model in your life.
