Hi love, excellent video. Thanks so much for sharing. I was hoping to maybe request a topic for one of your videos. There are a ton of videos out there on youtube about the most profitable cars to purchase when starting out on Turo, but they are mostly the more economic cars, fuel-efficient, a lot of Toyota Prius and Honda Civic suggestions, which I believe are very marketable to a certain clientele, for sure, but you seem to focus on more user-friendly, luxury style cars. Could you maybe do a video with your top 5 or 10 most profitable cars, and maybe how long it takes for you to be making net profit on your investment. And do you make more of your income because of quantity of cars you have in your fleet, or because of the quality of the cars, would you say? I'm looking to get started on Turo this coming year, and I am trying to get as much information from actual Turo hosts that are currently running a successful Turo business for 5+ years. Love the patience and details you put into the videos. Maybe you already answered this question in one of your videos, which is , are we putting insurance on these vehicles when we buy them. Most financing requires full coverage before granting the loan. I understand Turo provides the insurance, not trying to double pay if I’m not driving the car at all.

Yes, you need to insure the car when not rented, Turo insurance only covers the car during the rental.

Check with your lawyer and accountant for the best liability protection, your vehicles should not be registered in your name. If it is not set up and insured right, there is probably no greater risk to someone's personal wealth than Turo. A driver of one of your cars can make you lose everything if someone gets injured or killed. Turo only has 750k of insurance. Your personal insurance does not cover operating a car rental business. If someone dies, injury attorneys may come after you, even if you were not the driver.

Thank you James for clarifying that. Majority of vlogger or all of them only talks about the pros and do not discussed the cons. You are so right that if someone gets killed, the host's entire assets such a home if they are a home owner can be wiped out. However, different states varies those protection. I've expanded my fleet in expediting, renting out a cargo delivery van. The state and federal requires a 1 million dollars policy for each vehicle if you are willing to accept delivery nationwide. And the monthly payment is $1200 - $2000 per month depending on your driving record with $3000 - to $5000 downpayment.

Most personal insurance does not cover business purposes, especially high risk car rental where someone can get killed. Read your policy exclusions. If your claim is denied the injury attorney will likely come after you personally. Not worth it IMO.

Both brand new and a 2020 Slingshot R I hope I can provide a great experience I’m looking for high end renters who will appreciate these luxury and super rare fun cars. She gives A LOT of bad advice on buying cars. BMW is possibly the WORST cars you can get for Turo, they depreciate worse then almost any car out there, their reliability is terrible, they have the highest maintenance out there, they require premium gas.

Hi my name is cliff, I have watched a few of your videos and I have some questions for you that's important to me. What financial institution you use to finance all those cars at one time ? I asked because I have just started last month with turo and I have a credit score that is over 700 but my financial institution only allows me 4 cars on my credit due to income to debt ratio and they don't understand that o use these 4 cars on the turo platform so the money that I make will cause the cars to pay for themselves. Also what insurance company do you think would be the most supportive of me having my cars on a car rental platform. Only way is to build business credit so that your LLC have enough credit to get a loan without using outside financing which you can’t receive from the bank your business is set up with. Also a line of credit gives you more options when you buy a car.
