Was the “Jews eat first” joke in the original Cake Email a reference to Matthew 15:26-27? “But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.” For context, this verse from a conversation between Jesus and a Canaanite woman describes the “us and them” societal relationship between Israelites and Gentiles, where non-Jews (dogs) should only get the scraps left behind by Jews (God’s children). I can’t tell if that was intentional but in any case, Bravo Amir!
