I'm just wondering why this kid is trained in combat with a baton. Either he isn't, or he trained in the wrong thing for self defense, because your hands are the only weapon you can always have with you. It's great to know how to fight with several things, but he makes it sound like his only goal is self defense. I personally think that training in self defense primarily with a weapon that you might not be able to have if you get attacked is a stupid thing to do. That is, if it's the only thing your being trained in.

Kept going around in circles. Thought Bo Burnham was being ridiculous and presumptive the moment he brought up Dangrin is a rich white kid with a rich white kid problem. People have vacations celebrating graduation. Then Dangrin’s letter brought up a private plane, not being able to bring a baton, and buying a weapon to protect himself on vacation. That was so messed up. But Bo kept ripping into the situation and kept me flip flopping between agreement and annoyance on his condescension.
