I just gotta say I love the fact it’s explicitly said that Bane is disgusted by what scarecrow and mother are doing to orphaned children. Maybe I’m reading too far into it, but I like to think of that as foreshadowing for beans eventual (offscreen) redemption in Arkham Knight where he decides to bring down the drug cartels after witnessing children dying as a result of the gang war. Bane might be on monster, but even he respects the “don’t harm kids” rule… except for Robin and Batgirl, but that goes without saying

Heres just some ideas for side missions A side mission with The Eraser, where a call over the radio plays that reports of someone tampering with crime scenes “erasing” evidence Reports of “Batman and Robin” committing crimes like robbing banks and assaulting business men where it turns out to be Wrath and Scorn Illegal street races taking place over Gotham and Gearhead wants to take on Robin Reports stating that a movie theatre is haunted with Jack Ryder and a news crew trapped inside being tormented by Clayface A distress signal is put out claiming a sea monster destroyed their ship when its really King Kraken Cornelius Stirk is found in the sewers kidnapping the homeless and Batgirl must stop him Finding more and more escaped arkham inmates, Batman wonders how this is happening and after interrogation on a thug he states that a “creepy hooded ghost” let him free calling himself “The Spook” A string of jewel thefts occur with the Batfamily believing it to be Catwoman but when a security guard ends up dead shes confronted and she assists in the investigation where it turns out to be Magpie Fires are popping up across Gotham and its believed to be Firefly but when in fact its Calamity having meltdowns in search for her daughter Olive Anarky is back with a grudge against Batman and places challenges/bombs at historical building across Gotham that he believes represents the worst of the city Reports of a riot taking place outside a nightclub where the patrons are under the mind control of the Music Meister A plane crashes in Gotham park with snowy footprints walking away from the wreckage with witnesses saying it was “Bigfoot” later revealed to be the Snowman The Thompkins’ medical clinic asks for help due to someone stealing their supply shipments for Leslie Thompkins to eventually get kidnapped and need to be rescued

Same. Especially with the nice Jason Todd set up. I know GameDen said this is the last in his series and it did seem like it took a lot out of him to get this one complete and out, but if he ever feels inspired to return to this imaginary series he created I'd love to see him bring it the "Origins saga" full circle and lead it to RS trilogy. I could see a few threads to play at like Lady Shiva (bringing David Cain & hinting at Cassandra), Talia (where we may also see a romance), and Joker (with his crimes becoming more creatively sadistic & gruesome, ala THAT kindergarden story from the City Stories) taking on more prominent roles. Jason's more intense and short tenure as Robin. Set up for Barbara losing her legs and maybe she's Oracle after a time jump in the epilogue/endgame. And Harvey Dent's rise & fall into Two-Face - maybe instead of him fighting the mob, it's the ever rising threat of the freaks. Although it does contradict the Arkham City audio tape and it may've all already happened in his series before/after Bonds . Ever since the Arkham Bonds video, I expected he'd, finally adapt that one since it's a pretty popular thread brought up for an Origins follow-up.

God I love that little tie in with Jason becoming Robin. I love the show don't tell way you went about him, the moment I heard you talk about Dick and the orphan boy, I knew it was Jason. I just like how intense the story becomes and the bittersweet ending. Its such a great note to leave it on. This was so enjoyable to listen to. Hope to see more videos like these

Agreed. That whole mission was probably my favorite and the part with Jason was the cherry on top that made me feel that way towards it. It's such a nice tie in as you said and I love that Dick's Robin meets him first and has a moment with him where he professes that he's his favorite before the latter takes on the role. It makes Jay's fate more tragic to me.

@@GameDenColor Baby Doll’s trouble is that she’s great drama but not a huge threat, I think she works great with other villains, I could see her making a return to dramatic form with Film Freak, Manikin, Calendar Girl, even Clayface. Her croc episode was great, and they’re both great in it, but I think a lot of that charm was having Mary play off of someone else rather than being some lightning in a bottle about Croc specifically

​@@GameDenColor I'm curious, for the side missions are you planning to have ones exclusive to Batgirl in addition to Batman and Robin or will they be divided between ones for Batman and Robin + Batgirl as the 'sidekicks' side missions. I ask because it may be a lot to have several quests split across the three of them, although it'd be great if you pull a GTA V. Also, great job crafting a narrative with generally tons to do and a lot of character moments for each of the three protagonists imo. As can be seen with the aforementioned GTA V, it can be tricky to properly delve into each protagonist in a meaningful way. Though I recognize this is also a story run-through than a full script.

I feel like the final boss fight would have been better if our expectations for Batman stripping off the armor were completely subverted. Instead of being this physucally capable force, every hit Bruce lands on Prometheus does double damage to himself while inflicting minimal damage on his foe. Perhaps Prometheus' helmet tells him how to disable the armor, leaving Batman at his mercy, just as Alfred had warned (Because ya can't just mention that and not have some sort of payoff). That way, Bruce is forced into a position where Robin proves he is more than capable of handling things on his own (Validating his arguement about beating Bane by himself), and Batgirl proves to be a more than worthy addition to their family. Forgoing character moments like this in favor of a macho unbreakable Batman moment feels unsatisfying. Batman needs to be set straight after all his moodiness since Bullocks death.

Asking for a lot here. But I always thought that a game covering Batman joking the Justice League would be a great time. Although SSKTJL is highly despised by the Arkham community, I do really like the idea of Superman bringing Bruce back into the light, and think a game covering Arkham Batman’s perceptive as he meets the Justice League and encounters threats greater than anything he’s faced before would make for a fantastic and interesting story

Have to say, I really like how well you played out the theme of family through this. That it's all through the game, on both the heroes (obviously the bat family, and the Gordons) and the villains (Prometheus and Mother, but also touched on with Talia and Ra's, and Joker's weird act) sides is interesting. I also felt like there was a secondary, but related theme of handling change, but I'm not sure it was fully intended. Either way, well done. Having multiple characters bring up a theme several times in a story without getting repetitive . . . well, even some professionals can't do it. Not sure if the similarities with Arkham Knight were coincidence, intentional, or a mix, but I liked them. Similar for allusions to other DC material. Definitely something I would play.

I forget if you touch on the Court of Owls before but I think (if you didn’t) it’d be cool if the Talons were an evolved variation of The Orphans. It sounds like the perfect thing they’d take advantage of, the final piece in their new Talon project.

Prometheus was definitely a tall task for Rocksteady since the scope of the game would not really allow for him. He’s literally just Evil Batman but more dangerous than the JL on a bad day, which is why (much like Deathstroke in Brad Meltzer’s Identity Crisis) you only reserve him for team books. He’s supposed to be an Event character like Superboy-Prime or “ThE bAtMaN wHo LaUgHs”, so I always felt them teasing him was because their end goal WAS to use him as the JL’s very own Joker. Unfortunately…I was right about them working towards the JL. Just not how I hoped…

All you have to do is hire a couple people,change up the hero (obviously so you dont copyright anything), change it up slightly and you would have a great game. Dont get me wrong this is amazing. What im saying is you NEED to make this a reality. Or see if you can get dcs approval and what not
