The weirdest thing about Catwoman in Arkham Knight is that there are some tight ropes she can walk on, but then some she can’t for some reason. In general, Catwoman has never been my preferred character to play as despite liking her personality in these games. In terms of gameplay, she’s just not all there for me.

I just can’t stand this modern shit that if a side character is a woman - no way she can be wrong, but if she’s also a woman of colour - god forbid. She will insult everybody around be mean and unbearable. And be framed by a narrative as a just and right person. Story and relationship will make no sense what so ever but this is modern writing for you.

Have you considered making a sequel story to Arkham Knight Red Hood gang war you’ve set up written plot lines for two completely fictional Arkham games? Of course, no pressure if you don’t want to. Just curious if you’ve considered that? One thing you would do a great job.

Another benefit of having all of the levels be more linear locations with only a block or two of city to traverse per section is that you could potentially have the story work in chapters allowing you to replay different parts of the story later on instead of having to create an entirely new save file (This is one of the few complaints I have about the Arkham series.)

I wish to speak in defense of Arron cash because I don’t believe you have read the comics (the Arkham comics specifically…though if you have, I apologize) cash may be tough, but he has to be considering the job he has, the town he’s in, and the universe his world resides ( it’s still a dc world and Gotham is as prone to every strange event that happens) cash guarded the civilians rescued in Arkham city and for the record, he was against it as well believing small time criminals and regular adicts didn’t deserve to be thrown in with the real monsters. And yes, I can believe crock ate his hand for no reason. I pity crock but by the time we see him he’s embarrassed his monster persona.

She comes off as completely psychotic when they should’ve made her kind of a Batman-like character, where she kills people but only those who she thinks truly deserve to die. I think the better way to show Yuri’s downfall would’ve been to make the Maggia enforcer her first real kill. The line of it feeling good to kill probably meant that she’s glad that a murderer is off the streets for good. It had a different meaning before because at that point she had already killed multiple people, making her look like a psychotic murderer. The crime scenes she takes Spidey to are meant to be the people that the guy killed, further proving her point that killing is ultimately the best solution and that doing things the right way can only get you so far. Her side quest should’ve focused on the differences between their philosophies and let both of them come to an understanding that both of their world views are flawed and that they just have to respect the others choice. Peter and Yuri both want the same thing, but they understand that they are very different people and decide that this is where they part ways for good. They also understand that Peter might have to come after her if it comes down to it, and Yuri knows that.

The gameplay is a step down. Combat feels lighter and the sound effects aren't as satisfying. Still fun, but City is far superior. Predator sections are often huge which spreads out takedown opportunities and makes it likely a blind player is going to use silent takedowns. Exploring the map isn't as fun because of bad design choices (Pioneer's Bridge) and everything blends together. City did a great job of organizing the map in a way that I wouldn't even need the map to traverse on a repeat playthrough. With all of this said, it's still fun. If you liked City, Origins is basically more of City's gameplay with a story that is entertaining enough to get you through.

All you have to do is hire a couple people,change up the hero (obviously so you dont copyright anything), change it up slightly and you would have a great game. Dont get me wrong this is amazing. What im saying is you NEED to make this a reality. Or see if you can get dcs approval and what not

I won't lie I absolutely loved playing as Deathstroke in Origins, purely because it's fucking Deathstroke. Also, it has been confirmed that Deathstroke will be playable in SSKTJL, so that tease did in fact pay off. Edit: I also really loved Azrael, because he's Azrael.
