Kate is sick with Cancer. The real question is where are the supposed children of H and M. They are so literally invisible that lots of people suspect that they are not real. The Queen granted Camilla title of Queen Consort before she passed away. Philip could never be king. To be a King or Queen, you have to be heir to the throne. Philip had no titles and the Queen bestowed on him title Prince Consort (to appease his ego since he would spend the rest of his life walking two steps behind her). Originally, the Queen was going to give Camilla the title of Princess Consort but changed her mind.

Camilla's official style and title is Her Majesty The Queen. (or informally, HM Queen Camilla). Queen Camilla legally became Her Majesty The Queen on September 8, 2022, but was temporarily styled as the Queen Consort to avoid confusion with the late Queen Elizabeth and to ease the transition. They chose the Coronation as an arbitrary date to officially use her rightful style/title of Her Majesty The Queen.

A similar situation was presented when a young Queen Elizabeth II acceded to the throne in 1952. Her mother Queen Elizabeth was given the frothy title of "Queen Mother." Tradition would dictate that Camilla be called the "Dowager Queen," but that bit of Victorian fussiness can be avoided by a royal degree from a King William V that she simply be styled "Queen Camilla."
