Man, this video left me with questions. I'm conflicted on Mike's response. First props for calling you out on comparing me to Professor X because I'm bald (it's obviously because of my school for gifted mutants, of course) And then for a moment while Mike was comparing me to Batman, I was like "Wow... this is the nicest thing Mike has ever..." and then *BAM* "Namor because he's kind of a douche that lives in his own little world." -Mike is definitely the Guy Gardner of the Green Lantern Corps. An ex-cop with a power ring who make fun of everyone else on the team. -Seth, you're freakin ' Superman: Big guy with astonishing powers and small town humility, and probably a weakness to Kyrptonite -Matt from Reality Check Self Defense is more like comic book Spider-Man than anyone else on this list with his sense of humor and cracking jokes while live sparring. (Not to be confused with the humorless movie Spider-Man versions) -Shintaro Higashi is like one of those really powerful, but less popular characters with a specialized skill set like Dr. Fate or Captain Atom -Sensei Ando is like Plastic Man. At first it seems like he's a pretty harmless fun loving guy. But then you look deeper at the gritty reboot and you're like "Woah... Plastic Man is not what I thought at all." -Chewey is probably more like professor X than me. As a 3rd degree black belt, his actual formal title would be "professor". And with his whole team of BJJ black belts he trained, that's about as close as you'll get to a guy leading a team of super-humans in real life. -Master Wong is like Mr. Furious from the Mystery Men (Flaming Carrot comics) he's got all of the Hulk's rage, but he doesn't actually get stronger when he gets mad. -Jake Mace is like one of those old golden age comic characters that was really popular back in the day, but no one reads anymore. -Rokas is Alan Moore's Swamp Thing with the whole death/rebirth origin existential crisis saga (one of my favorite comics ever) -Kwon Kicker is like Star-Man. A pretty cool superhero that had a well received run of stories, but was forced to give up his powers and retire from the superhero business, but ultimately sacrificed himself to save the day, and then the writers retired the character. that's all I've got time for. Now the questions: 1. What was the reasoning for Rogue? Do you absorb people's powers after touching them? 2. Why is Mike following Jake Mace on onlyfans? 3. Not a question, but a simple statement of fact: Grandmaster Jesse is already his own superhero 4. Seriously, did Sensei Ando pee in Mike's cheerios or something? It's cause Seth has Big Guy Martial Artist Disease where he refuses to go hard against people because he doesn't actually want to hurt them. It's a mental game I've seen a ton of big guys go through, where they've lived their entire lives holding themselves back because the world is so much more fragile for them than for everyone else and they have this mental block about coming across as violent. If you're a nerd I'm sure you know the world of cardboard scene from some superman v darkseid fight. I think Dr Strange/Dr Fate fits Ramsey Dewey better. Incredible fighters in their own right, but truly a scholar at heart and would rather spend his time worlds away from everyone else while advancing his own personal skill and occasionally helps others on their journey. For Jesse/KarateNerd, you can't overlook Danny Rand (The Iron Fist)--despite being so young, he knows more combat (and its corresponding origins) than anybody, has a heightened moral compass, he's classically trained from around the world, and impossible to land a hit without getting five in return. As for Mike, he's either Hannibal King or John Constantine--looks to be normal at first encounter, sarcastic by nature, prefers to fight dirty and its only once you face him that you realize he's not fully human.
