Bit inconsistent with fighting Merryweather; When Michael and Trevor are robbing the crashed traincars under the bridge it's Merryweather personnel and all of the kills are counted as murder charges. But later on during the Union Depository mission it's all considered self defense because they are a security company without liscence to kill. And then later on during the finale you are counting Merryweather personnel as murders again.

It’s been replaced with “Under Government Orders”, however, it does not mean they’re immune to convictions if they commit crimes like murder, r-word, & terrorism.

you forgot property damage for the speaker that he threw off the yacht trying to get his daughter back at 5:23. also, during the merryweather cargo ship heist, that was franklin who shot the 29 merryweather mercenaries, not michael. Michael may not have shot the men himself, but he was associated with the murders, so he should instead be charged with accessory to 29 felony murders, not felony murders. same with martin madrazzo's job of hitting down the airplane, he was also associated, but not the cause since trevor killed them. As for Patricia when she was kidnapped, sure, he was associated, but yet again he did not do it himself. since there is no crime called "accessory to kidnapping", this would go under Criminal Negligence, since he could have done something, but refused to do anything. Don't forget that in the heatseeking sniper mission, franklin killed the last person, once again giving another accessory charge. also, thermal scopes are illegal in the state of california, meaning that it is a possession charge for michael. even more accessory charges mistaken for felony murder when michael had stuck up the train in blaine county for gold. Also, although he was a reason that Molly died since she was destroyed in the air turbine, Michael showed no intent to kill molly or even hurt her, for that matter. All he wanted to do was get the film back, and there could have been many ways he could have gotten the film back that could have happened in the scene where he had not hurt molly. even then, he was protecting his property, giving him a right to put hands on molly to take back his property, making him not guilty, as it was not his fault that molly ran into the turbine. Also, In the deathwish mission when they kill 69 merryweather troops, i only saw michael killed about a quarter of the men that were killed in the progress, meaning the rest would be assisted felony murder, but to be sure, i would recommend that all of them would be assissted felony murder, since it would be too much of a hassle for a judge to look through that and tell which ones were assisted and which ones were not. Lastly, when he had killed devin weston at the end of the game, he did not do it by himself, trevor and franklin helped push the truck, resulting in another assissted first degree murder.

It's comical that in a game called Grand Theft Auto stealing vehicles is rarely the main focus of missions in story mode. Vehicles are stolen usually as part of a setup to obtain non-vehicle targets. Criminal Enterprises would have been a more accurate title for the franchise. The is not enough GTA in GTA games to justify that title.

Stealing cars is still a big part of the games, especially before Online (and even in online there are businesses where you steal cars) and the title is too iconic by now
