Imagine if the og security breach revolved around you meeting an innocent mimic at the start of the game. Maybe based off of your choices he could either stay good or turn violent. At least then the random choices you get would matter more instead of some shitty webcomic ass ending.

Maybe I'm just Undertale-brainrotted, but when SB first came out I 100% expected the endings to revolve around whether or not you "disassembled" all of Glam Freddy's friends or instead chose to help them get rid of the virus or at the very least escape peacefully. Not that killing the machines themselves would be immoral because they're ACTIVELY trying to kill you, but instead just having unintended consequences of Gregory's choices. Then the game required you to trash at least 2 to get ANY ending, and none of the endings were satisfying. Then Ruin came out and Cassie spoke to ruined Chica so compassionately, then went on to help reboot Sun, then when Roxanne showed mercy after recognizing she wasn't Gregory, I got my hopes up maybe Cassie would be the anti-Gregory and help put all the machines at peace, acting as a reversal of SB.... but nope we just abandon Prototype Freddy and literally electrocute Monty. I know none of that's about the Mimic, I'm just saying actively seeing your choices reflected in how you treat the enemy (or maybe would-maybe-be enemies) is a concept that's pretty popular and might have its place in FNAF too.
