I'm a mom so I been through the baby stage not once but twice. Whenever I think about having another kid I remember the baby stage and am like nope never again. Babies are the worst. Once they become toddlers it's a lot better because they can talk and they start having their own little personality. My kids are 12 and 9 now. Honestly that's the best ages. They can talk to you and become much more independent. My son is gonna start his teenage years tomorrow so I know I'm in for a ride and will be back in the frustrated and annoyed stage but luckily once my daughter turns 13 my son will be 16 and halfway done with his teen years.

My cousin's first baby was born four months early via emergency c-section last year and was on the verge of death. He's done a complete turn around and is about to celebrate his first birthday and as happy as I was for him I was not on this green planet going to hold his baby. As a parent of 3 kids under 10- this is GoLD! I hate other people’s kids, and the parents the revolve around them. A ton of fake small talk over the kids lives is the last thing I want to talk about while gratefully being in the presence of other adults.

I'm a mom and my toddler annoys me so damn bad....days like thigh I don't want kids. I'm pregnant I'm tired and get no respect for bring hip all night. While my husband slept. I come lay down he is still iin bed so is my son both awake. Husband here bc he thinks he will get some. You aint getting shit!!! I have to pee every 5 seconds bc I'm pregnant. Being a woman, I've had people telling me since I was 16 years old that my mind would change one day....here I am nearly 30 years old and while I've grown SLIGHTLY more outwardly tolerant of them, babies and toddlers still very much gross me out, overwhelm me, and anger me. Hearing a kid cry elicits almost a visceral response from me. I can't handle the irrationality that very small kids and babies possess. For example; seeing a fire, being told that it's hot, sticking their grubby hand in it anyway, and then proceeding to make it everyone else's problem by shrieking as loudly as humanly possible. Like it's the consequences of your own actions, wtf did you think would happen? .....and yet I understand that they don't understand, so I try my best to guide them and be nice...but I also choose not to have any of my own and to distance myself as much as possible for this reason. Bonus points if I've told it to stop doing something stupid several times and it doesn't listen, then gets hurt. It takes everything in me to not laugh and say "see? That's why we don't do dumb ass shit." But I....usually...hold my tongue. Lol

It’s often not babies and toddlers that are the problem, many people don’t have a problem with them at that age, it’s as they get older many people find things suck, especially as they go to school and get naughty, temperamental and cheeky

I just find children of all ages annoying for different reasons. I used to sub and worked with all ages including VPK. The younger they are the worse it is in terms of behavior because they have no structure and you basically have to teach it to them. Older kids are the worst because they talk back, decide not to do any work, give an attitude and you gotta figure out what keeps them in line without losing your temper. Teenage kids have attitudes, snarky, and purposely do things to piss you off and want to get away with murder. Theres always the handful of kids and teens that are great and sweet but those are the lowest in number from experience. Most of them are loud, don't shut up and don't work or at least pretend to be busy. I get headaches every time. So for me personally all ages stink, I'd rather work with adults.
