My favorite part of Mike's car is the interior. It's really easy to make an interior look clean when you rip everything out. Mike made the interior a real part of the project and I think that's what makes the build a real complete work.

It definitely wasn't the cheapest thing to do but when you work on things yourself that saves a ton of labor money, and if you have good friends or even just a couple of people willing to contribute, you can be good. It will take and dedication no matter what. It's no different than buying a brand new car, and putting some amount of thousands down and paying a payment every month, if you really think about it.

As for the fenders, the design of it was in my head for a very long time kind of just sitting in there, but the length of time I'd have to ask my friend Cody of Casale Design because he was the one working on those while I was working on the chassis plumbing and so on.

This Prelude has been through so many stages, I was lucky to see it in one of its earlier stages. I used to work for a shop down in Buena Park, CA called Midnight Garage as an extra set of hands. I personally bought a prelude because I grew so tired of see the same old done on civics/integras and always realized the prelude would be a more deserving candidate for extensive customization.
