​@Warmaster2001(some) fantasy fans and people who've only been exposed to warhammer fantasy battles through total war and vermintide are still salty that gw pulled the plug on it because the sales declined on minis and how they screwed up the end times. But now that fantasy is back in the form of Warhammer the old world there's really not much of a reason to whine anymore. I've also seen some arguments about why aos is bad is that it copies some aspects from 40k: Stormcast Eternals=space marines. Which is true but they also like to sweep under the rug that 40k did the same: Necrons=tomb kings, dark aeldar and normal aeldar: high elves and dark elves, squats=dwarfs, etc. The only really valid reason to dislike aos is if you hate the end times itself.

I mean you say the Vampire units are trash, but those Bats are superior to the Carrion in every which way, the Ghouls are pretty neat, and the Hexwraith's shred. And the fact he can get 13 fresh units per T3 settlement, while also buffing their attack by 15 factionwide, I'd say they're in pretty high demand.

@@gamingrambles yeah, T1, he gets 4 slots of Wolves, 4 slots of Bats, and 4 slots of Ghouls, then at T3, he gets 1 slot of Hewraiths. while it does mean you'd need 19 settlements to get one doomstack of Wraiths, you get 228 other units in the meantime to fill up the early armies with so they aren't just trash stacks of Skeleton warriors and archers, and since you get real bang for your buck with the building, you can just focus on getting a few of those up and running and save your cash for late game constructs.

Well, arkhan is supperior for the number of unique building that generate canopic jar, all lands mark unique to him as a tomb king (generally shared with vampire count) generate canopic jar, like Lost necropolis of Mourkain and the ruine of mourkain (no in the wiki, will have to fix it) and when he control his tower, it give more canopic jar

The advisor is to young to understand the true meaning of loyalty. Also Arkhams undeath units have its benefits. The ghuls are far better in close combat and the wolves can give him much needed mobility and fear in the early game. His real downside is that he has to fight that Johanna of Orleans clone, setra and the dwarfs at once. Also I think the staff of Nagash is only powerful in the hands of its rightful owner - like the blade of Cain is useless to anyone who is not worthy.

To be fair, Arkhan vampiric units are amazing against Bretonnia and Tomb Kings in the early to mid game, and then you get the Hexwraith, which cover the lack of strong cavalry in the Tomb Kings roster.
