It's likely that Cypher knew the Fabricator General was corrupt but the Angels wouldn't dare kill him due to their Mechanicus privileges were put on the line so he just motivated them by tossing the Dark Angels secret at the Fabricator General

Hey! I haven't checked if these have been suggested before, but I'd like you to check Stringstorms warhammer music. He made the intro music to TTS and has full songs that are very lore heavy and interesting. My personal favourited are Atrocity (about Istvan III), Rylalanor's Last Stand (rock opera about a loyal Emperor's Children dreadnaught), HMKIDS - Death of Horus (cover, subject obvious) and Pretty Marines Song (interesting take on a meme chapter).
