The function of a church as a human institution should be regulated. The spiritual aspect though, cannot/must not be regulated or interfered with by the government, period! When a church is turning into a cult, it’s no longer serving or doing what it was meant to do and that’s when the government through regulations put in place would come in. Viongozi wa kanisa wanasema wasipewe pressure yet we see things like Shakahola? They want to self regulate because them also have become businessmen on the backs of poor and hopeless Kenyans. God is not to be mocked and Kenyans need to wake up too! We need to be equally accountable for direction which our country is taking and shouldn’t leave it in the hands of clergymen. Most if not all, are as bad as the politicians. Remember, nothing should stop us from directly communicating with our God and making the demonstration, progress and the necessary changes.
