Professor is partially right when taking about supply driven inflation. However, we are simply forgetting that he US fed lowered interests rates hence artificially lowering the value of the dollar, concurrently the Kes has to appreciate and cost if imported energy (fuel) has to drop. There’s nothing fundamental in the Kenyan economy that has improved … let’s not get too excited.
