Lexa and Ryan you are a great couple! Lexa you are very articulate. I have lived in America for the last 26 years. Originally from Barbados. I first went to school in Blackpool, northern England, only Black family in the entire village. So no problem there, just questions asked and answered. Kids are not cruel to one another unless they see their parents behave badly. We spent 4 years there. Returned for college, my class was an International one and Apartheid in South Africa was breaking up. In my class, South Africa, Cameroon, Nigeria, Turkey, Greece, Sweden and Mexico. Our bubble stuck together we learnt a lot from each other. When I arrived in America to live, that is when I realized just how Socially backward the Country. Most of the time people have no clue what I am, I look East Indian, and have a "Scots/ Irish accent. Then some people think Muslim is a Race. "Are you Muslim?" So it's Education that is sadly lacking. I never hesitate to let people know on both sides of the fence how wrong they are. How can you be prejudice and do not even know who you are addressing? Crazy! Any opportunity to Educate I do without crushing feelings too badly. I agree with Ryan, enlighten People leave no stone unturned. My grandson is bi-racial, both of his parents are immigrants, naturalized citizens. I pray that his experience will be less to do with color but more to do with just living the best life he can. The work must continue today.

I am so jealous right now, that place is paradise. Candles are always a yes, except for date night apparently,lol. your dinner looked fantastic, so do the natchos. Water comes up the hill using a pump. In the fall the pump is turned off. Last visit of the fall you flush all of the toilets and turn the hot water off.
