You're instincts and eye for architectural style are on point. Both the Dutch and the French established colonies in lower Manhattan back in the 1700's; more so the Dutch. I spent so many Saturday's roaming the village, impulse shopping, chilling in Washington Square Park, and EATING!!! But that was waaaaay back in the 80's, probably before you guys were even born!! LOL!! Can't wait for the next chapter...

CardiacKip Thank you 😊. I love traveling and have had the pleasure of visiting both Amsterdam and Paris. In the Netherlands we actually learned that a lot of the areas and references in New York were given by the Dutch (e.g., Brooklyn, Holland tunnel, Yankee etc.) I didn’t know that the French had colonies there though. NYC is beautiful, I understand why the world flocks there. Btw we were born in the 80s 😉.

robin volpi I didn’t tell him that his drawing was bad. Jordan looked miserable while we were getting the drawing and I asked him if he could make her look happier than she actually was, and he did. Then I asked him if he ever encounters parents who give him a hard time I.e., my baby is more beautiful than that, etc. I would never tell an artist that his work is ugly I’m straightforward, but that would be just mean. 😉
