You have great advice here, the moment I heard the 'protein sensitive' I doubted that the problem with the child's hair is protein. She also mentioned she can't afford the other products that other people recommend when she doesn't need premium product she needs to learn to look after her child's hair; she needs to master afro hair. Like you advised Rachel should ensure to deep condition the child's hair, and use a heat cap if comfortable for the child. After I put in my leave in I also use the heat cap again to 'embed' the moisture'. Last thing is, and I give this advice to all those with natural afro hair: look for products with silicone. The 'no silicone' mantra in natural hair products is damaging afro hair. Silicone is a god send, your pantene and tresemme products will have silicones in them, the ones that say no silicone but have them mean they have soluable silicone versus non-soluable so the products starting with Cyclo... Dimeth... these are silicone. THE Silicone will coat the hairshaft, fill cuticles, seal in moisture and enable the hair strands to glide by each other. I have spent the last year studying my hair and products will silicone have been a gamechanger and they do wash out despite the propaganda.

This is my first time I'm going through dry hair and I have thyroid and everything I ordered don't seen to work my edges are gone the whole have thinner very bad nothing seems to work for me 😭😭😭
