It's not just strength. It also requires an amazing amount of precision to make those objects stick on top of the strength required to puncture. I throw knives and axes, and if you *only* go for power and no spin control, about 80% of the time it's just gonna clonk them in the dome. It'll hurt! It might even knock them out! But that's not the *intended* result. This man is *insanely* good at thrown weaponry.

@Money Man foam is closer to the consistency of a person than wood is, plus not everyone can set up a wooden target outside. Foam keeps the wall from being damaged, and anyone knows that foam still requires consistent or a very sudden but powerful amount of force to puncture. The give it has actually makes most things that are sharp more likely not to stick unless it's going hard and fast. If it doesn't have enough force, it will lose too much energy before the surface of the foam breaks, and it'll just fall out. This is fine for weight-y things like knives, but tweezers? Nailclippers? Those have no weight behind them, so the force he needs to exert to puncture something is so much higher. Of course the type of wood also matters in whether or not wood is easier to stab than foam. The denser the wood, the more force is needed, and by extension, the more precise your throw has to be.
