The SIM cards works independently of each other so you set them up exactly as normal. So you can do that

No. You get two phone numbers. You can share cellular data though

Yes it works. On the one you want to share cellular data from you just set that to on in the settings.

You can use physical SIM cards in both iPhones and Android phones. And eSIM works in both too. So you can do the same on most phones nowadays.

this might be a good solution for me. I want to carry only one phone ut when I come home I don't want work calls or text coming thru at all. if I turn off the business phone will I still get the missed texts and missed calls when I turn it back on? if so then this is all I need!

I get the missed texts but I am not sure I get all the missed calls. I actually use apples focus mode instead when I am home. That way I can select which calls and texts that will get through and which will be silenced.

Not for me when I set to only use mobile data with one of them and the other just for phone calls. Then I have the exact same battery life.

That I am unsure about. But each card will work simultaneously and independently of each other so it could work if the phone is not locked to one carrier.
