It works!! The unexpected benefit is I feel really stable in the golf swing and this informs me what I was doing wrong before (moving around too much in the wrong planes). Also I'm playing faster, because I have a simple guide in my head, I'm not thinking about my hands, or elbow or shallowing the club, it all just happens. Plus my draw has come back. The chipping seems to work from any kind of lie and I just can't believe how simple this is! All other lessons must be watched with the table-top method in mind. Thank you Danny, I'll never be able to repay you for all the joy you've brought into my golfing life, you're a hero, sir!

Honestly now when I play here in Sarasota and the course across the street from my house doesn’t look like June 6 at Omaha Beach I play only 150 and in. That’s it I don’t use the tee box anymore because it’s really a waste of time and effort. I carry 4 clubs and my putter and have a great time. My gap wedge is my favorite club and I am absolutely obsessed with it. I really love playing a full round when it’s cold and windy out because it’s much more comfortable and enjoyable. I’ve used this method for about a year now and it saves me 3 strokes a round. As long as I focus on the ground contact about an inch in front of the ball, and relying on the clubs bounce to prevent sticking the leading edge from club into the ground. When you learn the firmness of your greens you will see handicap lowering results.

Thank you for another great lesson. I know you recommended a 56 degree wedge for pitching in another video. Would you use a 52 from further out or just increase your swing arc to get more distance? Or was the 52 for chipping?
@rolirolsterАй бұрын
It depends, you can only answer that question yourself really. Go to a range with your wedges and find out what feels comfortable to you. With pitching you always want to feel in control, so if you feel like you're having to swing too much for a 50-80 yard shot with the 56, switch to the 52. I personally have been using this table-top method and it works a treat with all of my wedges. If the green is tight or downhill I'll use a 56, if I have a lot of space or it's uphill, I'll use a 52 for a bit more rollout. Sorry I'm not Danny, but I think he'd say something similar. Have you had a chance to try this technique yet?
