That’s why I love changing out seasonal items every three months, it’s like getting a new wardrobe again every time. And yet, these clothes are old friends, too.

I love a back-elastic waist, too. Not only are they comfortable, but they tighten back up when standing, so they don’t ride down off my skinny hips. I even added elastic to a wrap skirt that I never wore, because it was always droopy, then pinched when I sat. I love it now.

That's such a genius idea!!

I've recently purchased a few items that just don't work on my body, but have some gorgeous elements that I love. I think I will need to make some small alterations to make them suit me better so that I can start incorporating them into my wardrobe rotation. Here's to hoping they all end up becoming hero pieces for me 🤞

I live my fantasy life, I’m wearing a khaki-green silk skirt and a cream and khaki-green striped silk shirt, just for at home today. Plus a necklace, earrings and some blusher. I felt so sloppy those three first months of the pandemic wearing sweats, and they’re no more comfy than my usual clothes. Never again.

Oh you are too kind - my clothing tells me another story though haha! I've gone up a full dress size since having my two kids and my waist is thicker, but I was referring more so to the fact that our lifestyles change and we find the clothing we wore before kids no longer suits the lifestyle we have now. Like there's a lot I find just a bit too fussy to wear especially with having to pick up two wee kids etc. I run 3 times a week and generally eat a pretty balanced diet (I have a major sweet tooth) but also genetics definitely play a part! I have the same body shape as my mum did, and she was always quite slim. Hope you have a beautiful week! xx

@@mademoisellejaime Thanks for replying Jaime! I definitely know what you were referring to since I had my first little one during pandemic. I am too embracing a new mummy lifestyle but still I feel a bit uncomfortable in my new changed body (w/ extra 4kilos) so when I come across another mum who looks like themselves from before, I cannot help wondering and asking. Thanks again for your kind reply and i'll look forward to your new videos too❤️

I love my wardrobe, but a lot of it still has to go because I’ve just lost too much weight, I didn’t expect to, but it’s been staying off for years now. It’s painful to get rid of things I love so much, but my clothes that are three sizes too big just look ridiculous on me now. Everything from undies, sleepwear to outerwear needs replacing, but it will have to be done gradually. I just did another round of this “decluttering” yesterday, ouch. The better items can be sold, that helps a little. At least my accessories and shoes still work! Next time I will be more careful about sizing and not buy so much.

It's not my preferred either - but I usually find it dissipates with wear reasonably quickly? Though goes to show how fragrance affects people differently!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I always listen on my laptop and it never sounds that bad but just played it through my phone and I GET IT! Gosh! I filmed my next video with a microphone (have been using an app through my phone which just hasn't been cutting it), and also found a way to improve the audio using a new function through my video editing software. New video will be live in less than 12 hours (on French girl style) so would be curious to know what you think/if it's an improvement xx

Please get a hand held mic.
@mademoisellejaime Жыл бұрын
So sorry! I filmed with my shotgun mic this week (rather than the phone mic I’ve been doing) so 🤞🏼🤞🏼 the sound is better. Will always be some element of echo as there isn’t much in the room for sound to bounce off (but the only other spaces that are suitable with lighting are full open plan 🫠). Definitely trying to figure this out as I know audio can be make or break so thank you for bearing with me!
