🇹🇷Hazelnut roll
They were so soft and delicious.
My dough recipe is from the cinnamon rolls recipe I shared with you before. Those who have tried it know that it is a delicious dough. Try it, you won't regret it 😉
The glass size I use is 200ml
Materials:
200ml milk
55 g butter (about 2 tablespoons)
70g sugar (half a cup)
1 pack of vanilla sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg (M)
450-480 g flour / approximately 3.5 - 4 cups (add some more if necessary)
21 g fresh yeast or 1 pack dry yeast

For the filling;
130g hazelnut powder
150g chopped hazelnuts
50 g melted butter
6 tablespoons brown sugar (regular white will also work)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
8-9 tablespoons of milk

For the glaze:
150g Powdered sugar (a little more than 1 cup)
4 tablespoons of milk

One egg yolk for topping
Preparation of:
Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan until the butter melts. Then let it cool to lukewarm. Put flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar in a bowl and crumble the yeast. Add the milk mixture and obtain a smooth dough. The dough should be soft. You will get better results if it sticks lightly to your hand. It is useful to add flour control. Cover it and leave it to ferment for 1 hour in a warm place.

Mix all the ingredients for the filling. It should be of a consistency that is not too fluid but can be applied.

Then, put the dough on a floured counter and roll it out into a rectangular shape. Spread the hazelnut filling evenly onto the dough. Then roll it from the long edge and slice it 2-3 cm thick. Place it on a greased or baking paper-lined tray, cover it again and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Brush with egg yolk and bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom temperature (without fan) for approximately 18-20 minutes.
For the glaze, mix milk and powdered sugar.
Pour the sauce over the hot rolls and serve. Bon appetit 😋
