Absolutely NC for 8 months from both of us, I reached out and it didn't go well, little did i know that day he was going through a stressful time, so i reached out 2 weeks later and we were able to really talk and listen to each other..I am so glad I did reach out to him, we both had different take on what happened and why we stopped talking. I missed him and he did too, our hearts just don't care who was right or wrong. Ladies you don't always have to wait for the man to reach out. Of course every one situation is different.

My drinking and lack of attraction pushed her away soon as she started talking with my buddy she left with him 1.5 months later. They had sex in a hotel room down the street and several other places because he lives with his parents and she lives with her dad. I was weak and asked her why crying. She was a different person and told me it was me and to go get help. I quit drinking and have become the old me. But I doubt she will ever contact me. She seems very happy with him. I will not contact her but I believe sometimes it’s just what it is and relationships move on. I hope the best for her. Everyone deserves to be happy. So I’m moving forward and working on me.

What do you mean by “Haven’t met her”? If you both got an emotional connection beetween yourselves and were giving love to each other for a long time, then none of you both can just forget all of these feelings. These can be only blocked TEMPORARILY. Any girl is more sure about breaking is a correct decision than not, but remembers are not deletable. Usually if it’s quickly after the breakup, it’s what’s called a rebound relationship, and more often than not these are built on shaky grounds, and are superficial. She’s looking through rose colored glasses at first, and overlooking a lot of red flags potentially. Once the initial excitement wears off the issues come to the surface, and she realizes the grass isn’t always greener, and it ends as quickly as it began. She then might start to realize what you guys had was actually a great thing with a deep connection, and she made a mistake to leave. This is assuming when you and her first got together you weren’t the rebound also from a different relationship of hers. If you were then same thing might have occurred, and why it didn’t work and why she left you. None of this is a 100% thing, but just a rule of thumb and seems to happen more often than not when she hastily gets into another relationship. However the last thing you mention about her coming back and then leaving again still could apply no matter the situation. If she left once, it might be a pattern of behavior. Or she may realize the error of her ways and learn and not make the mistake again. Or she never comes back and you never hear from her again.
