Most distant people have an avoidant attachment style. Giving them space is simply their love language. I’m a secure attachment style and dealing with them is difficult at first but once I fell back and focused on me he became more attracted to me. It’s weird but it’s nothing personal it’s just their personality trait. However if you’re an anxious attachment style I will be extremely difficult to deal with this type because it’s the opposite for them. Anxious attachment need partnership and avoidance want independence. I feel as a secure attachment I am pretty balanced. I love love love partnership but I also love and enjoy my own company.

This has been so true for me. My ex and I are back together after a year and a half of being broken up and now that I’ve learned to love and respect myself, he’s almost obsessed with me. But what if I triggered the argument. But it’s because he never mentioned that he’s attending a wedding to another city and told me the last minute and the wedding is tomorrow in several hours. So got angry. That’s why he got angry too. We sorted it. But we had another argument before he flew back to his city. But when he went home he said goodnight without the babe. Hello ladies. Be alert when he pulls away. That means that he is out there with other options. My BF was inconsistent in our three year relationship and also picked arguments with me so he could run off and be with the other woman. I found out by a reliable source and my BF denied it at first but a week later confessed the truth. He is now begging for forgiveness and promising counseling and spiritual help . He has started the help but! I am going to end it . I told him to call me when he is a changed man but he wants to keep seeing me during the process. I am not doing it at his terms. I am now considering other options. I only miss the fake person he was but can't respect someone who wore a mask . Hope this helps you to move on. It can work if he were not a narcissist. He will pretend that he was getting better and then plays you again. I cut them off because I hate narcissists, toxic, childish, insecure, evil, jealous, envy, manipulative men. I can give a clue about my interest, however I never chase. I like chase for a short time, but if does not reciprocate, I lose interest. I know my value and I was victim of narcissistic people who tried to destroy me because of my beauty, intelligence, independence, success etc.

When someone deliberately ignores you, call him/her out on it, dont play games (such as, dont double text etc and let them get away with it), make them accountable for their actions. Tell him/her I know your ignoring me, I get the message. However, if you didn't want to talk to me then you should have just said so, and I wouldn't have continued to message you and embarrass myself. Leave it at that and dont message him/her again. Ignorance shows weakness and bad character.

I was in relationship , and everything was going great . One day he left and said that he is thinking about us and he left for 3 months after he come back . After he come back I took him back I was so happy … but inside of me something was wrong … after some months I lost my job and went to a difficult situation and asked him for help … he didn’t help. He said he will. After he didn’t help .. I always ignore a man that I like when he starts playing games. This is my personality. I don’t like controlling men. My current situation with a guy who is becoming distant after I went to his parents house to give his mother a Mother’s Day gift. I thought I was doing something nice, but to him it was an offense. After that day, I never heard back from him. He was visiting me before, he was calling me and texting. Suddenly he vanished like a ghost in thin air. Here’s the funny thing. I'll share my sad story. A man came onto me very strong even suggesting marriage. We flirted for awhile and he was exceptionally warm and loving with me. I stayed light thinking I wasn't getting hooked but I did. Then he just stopped texting me without telling me why. He got very sick and I thought that was it and so I held out hope. I thought he would reach out when he was better. I was also in a bit of denial because I was so filled with dopamine. I saw this video and even prior to seeing this, I knew what to do in these situations. I reached out twice with kind words, hoping he'd get well soon. Then I knew to stop because he wasn't responding back to me. I went on with my life. Then he calls me angry...he wants to blame me for his being sick. I stand up for myself and I am left shaken because this was so contrary to the loving attitude he had towards me. I again leave him be. THEN, I see him at a social gathering. He didn't warn me he'd be there so I was taken aback and sensitive about it. I didn't know what to do but since he ignored me, and I don't know why, I ignore him. It wasn't to punish him in anyway, it was to protect my heart. I honestly thought he didn't want to know me anymore. It was so painful for me because I cared about him but if he ignored me for at least a month and a half and prior to that a month with no words of us getting together (that was the original plan) what else am I to think? Maybe he can't stand me? I don't know. THEN I find out he was VERY UPSET that I ignored him! That made me feel bad, too because then I thought I did the wrong thing. I felt anguish and sadness and so wanted to talk to him but I felt it wasn't good to reach out because I had already reached out with kind words the last time. Two times. A month or so later I told his friend to tell him I hope he is OK. I was told he was much better. No response. I do my best to move forward with my life. I was hoping he would reach out to at least heal this relationship but that didn't happen. Fast forward a year later, I find out he is in a new relationship and is happy. I am glad for him but this whole episode has been enormously painful and sorrowful. Never got to clear the air in any way, never got to fix any misunderstanding, none of it. I cannot believe I still have to grieve this. So painful.

I chose me, I went no contact it's been a year and he started going to my adult son work place 8 wks ago spouting about what he's done for me (crazy talk.. now he's in a relationship he never fought for me and sadly my fault. I was always bottom of the list in his priority. I have the answer to the question for the 95% of the cases so hear me out. 1. once they gets to know you, they find out that you’re not the one for them. (it could be many different things but you can’t convince them because they have already made up their mind that you don’t have a future with them). 2. low self-esteem, low confidence. they may feel like they cannot make you happy or give you everything that you need. By that I mean they could be unhappy, and they have many problems that they cannot get out of it could be mentally financially. 3. it can be your background, where you’re coming from. it could be the Family who raised you. they know that their kids will turn out be just like you and your family so they don’t want your blood to be mixed with theirs. 4. some like that just live alone. did like the privacy and prefer for you to have your own place and for them to have their own. 5. some see that you are a Golddigger and you are there just to take advantage of them. there are many more reasons, but these are the primary reasons if someone leaves you, ignores you, doesn’t wanna take the relationship anywhere.

yes, but lemme take this a few dimensions higher. you shouldn't be ignoring men simply to ignore them. you ignore them to realease any outcomes and expectations. by ignoring them, you're removing the energy you spent a) wondering b) panicking and c) being energetically clingy and redirecting that energy back to you. it's a time for you and your desires to come first. he will sense you're playing games by ignoring him, but he will FEEL your absence in all ways, when you release the outcomes and focus solely on you and those that reciprocate. during that silence period, you'll often gain clarity and see him for who he is, AND you also open doors for men that can't wait to take their place! that silence is also a period for YOU to become the partner YOU'd want to be with too. it's painful, at first, but i promise you that it works. your outcome will almost always be better than being mistreated by a guy. you just have to see it from a higher perspective ❤
