Keith: Watching you hug your daughter brought memories flooding, and I mean flooding.. back of when we dropped our eldest son off at the recruiter to leave for Basic Training. I am a man much like you, with your value system, and I cried that day. He was just out of high school, having joined on the delayed enlistment program while a senior. This was June of 2002...he enlisted right after 9-11. He and my nephew were schoolmates, and decided the country needed them. They both went, and both came back and are fine. I will tell you and your wife this...the next time you see Anna in person she will be all grown up in her eyes, and you will see it too. You will find yourself even prouder of her than you are now. You two did an outstanding job raising her, and now she will prove it to you. All the best...
