Smh I met a White couple whose children attended Auburn University. My daughter got early acceptance there because she has a 4.2 GPA and the couple asked if she got in for sports! I know they probably would’ve never asked that if my daughter was White. Some Black kids actually don’t play sports so they get into college based on intelligence. Nowhere near the same level of discrimination but in the '90s whenever I (female) used to wear anything to do with my technical university people used to automatically assume I was either a secretary or wearing my boyfriend's clothes.
