I've felt horrible about where I am in life atm. I feel like I've wasted my entire 20s but I didn't even do that on purpose. I ended up developing cancer at 22 and at the time I was trying to work hard and improve my situation in life. Ever since 22 up until this very day I've been dealing with treatments for pre and post cancer. I am currently in remission thank God. I currently have to still go to drs in another state to treat my chronic GVHD. I am beyond blessed and insanely thankful to even have breathe in my body and be alive. I am working wide open to make up for lost time so hopefully I'll make things happen sooner rather than later. Keep your heads up everyone! You don't truly fail unless you give up and stop trying.

I needed this! I fucked up two years ago getting a DUI and had come ❄️ on me, did 3 weeks in county and lost my 6 figure job over 1 night out of “fun with the boys” and for what?! I’m 35 now, staying sober, working out twice a day, searching and working hard for my next big opportunity . Appreciate this video! Biggest thing you can do is be there for them. Just make sure they know you love them, and when you do things like working out, think of them being happy and the compounding effect each little thing you do in the present moment has. Thank you for uploading this; I'm 28 and feel like I've wasted the last 10 years of my life being a DJ and Producer because now, its just not fun to me anymore and I don't have the same passion for it as I once did, but one thing I have always and still am passionate about is Art/Video Games/Stories and Cinema. So now I want to try and go to college to get a degree in that field, but it just seems unattainable because of the cost and the competitiveness of the industry, and its something that I think I really want to do so I have to figure out how to go get it and make it happen.

It’s not like I’m dead broke or living paycheck to paycheck because I’ve taken time to educate myself on financial literacy. I am now re-training my mindset and appreciating small wins/goals, kindness to myself, and focusing on the positive. When you talked about the pain as the reason to do things and stop being lazy and procrastinate: I found the exact formula for me. It describes everything you told about pain, but I found another word for that feeling in my head: it's FEAR. Fear of what is gonna happen if I don't do this sh*t right now. How big impact it can have on my life and future if now I am gonna be lazy instead of grinding. How my life decrease and how much can I lose etc. And that fear is my "motivation", my power engine to hustle and improve myself day after day. I am not saying this is ultimate win in how to impove yourself, but it is f*kin working. Thanks David for this video, I see we are thinking about life in similar way, and that makes me feel good.

Now this is some honest talk and I love it :) admitting you don't have it all figured out and it hasn't all become "so easy", you're just a normal person dealing with the same things we all are. I think we all, as people, often fall into this trap of thinking everyone knows what they are doing and is so ahead of us. Tricking yourself to be productive btw is something I also do :D and it works. It really is all about making ourselves do things. Any action is better than not doing anything.

The raw honesty is what we need, sometimes. What we feel. We can't play like we're in a movie all the time, otherwise we lose ourselves. And don't fall into the "my life just sucks" this is yet another movie ! We need both, a vision of what we could be, a play, and to accept what we really feel down in the pit of our guts.

What you said about people who are more successful than you are go thru the same exact thing as the rest of us. The human condition. Even a super hard guy like David Goggins, even though he's a multi-millionaire, he has many days where he doesn't want to do anything and still does it. Which is why if someone becomes a millionaire, while it's great, your still gonna have the same feeling of "What's next". The journey is the real adventure. Fail or succeed, we're all gonna have good days and bad days. The trick is pushing thru the bad days. Some might take longer to get there...Like me. I got my license at 26, I'm 31 and I'm jobless living w/ my parents. I feel more behind than ever before. I feel like it's never gonna get any better. But it's just a feeling and feelings come and go.

It was important for me to see this video. I'm 28, I had a relationship for 8 years, it ended 1 year ago. I were dependent to her, and even after 1 year, I'm still looking for a reason to push. I have build a nice routine for my health (workout and crossfit 5 times a week, eat good food, skin care, nice sleep, ...), but bro I'm like why the hell am I doing this ? Like I'm alone, with no one to count on. I just got my job which gave me a reason for all of this. So, sometimes I don't want to do sports, eat well or taking care of myself. But I'm just saying to myself : keep doing this anyway, there will be a day where everything you kept doing will serve you. You are not alone, keep upgrading yourself, and your time will come sooner or later 🫶

The best thing to do is start with what's in your control. We get so caught up with what's out of our control, it paralyzes us. I know it's kind of cliche but eating good, going to the gym, getting better sleep, cleaning things you might put off is a great start. It's really hard to do all this and still feel as bad as when you don't. It really does provide clarity and can spring board you to your next move.
