this is such a timely video… for a long long time, i decided not to get married because of a distorted (dare i say bastardised) view of it i was shown growing up. i didn’t want that so i decided i’ll be alone, probably adopt a baby to nurture and love, and be satisfied with my God. this year, God has been showing me that He created the institution and so only He can run it well. God gives perfect gifts and nothing fails in his hands. Some days ago i felt led to write declarations on my future husband and family in present tense. I am frightened I won’t lie, because when you see a pattern, it seems funny to believe & hope it won’t affect you, the devil begins to make it look like a given. God has never failed and I cannot wait to see Him glorify himself in every single aspect of my life, even this, especially this. Thank you for this video as always Ezinne 💐💕

This video came timely. It's been 3 months now that God has been impressing someone on my heart as my husband. I have been fighting it. The person does not even notice me and to me I thought that if God says someone is for me, it should just happen immediately. I came from the place of prayer still having doubts in my heart but I got a response from God. I would stay with Him, stay in Him and watch Him bring His word to pass. The standards your husband set just sums up mine. Thank you Ezinne.. Feeling lonely is valid but staying with God is better and relieving yourself of every pressure, esp social media

Each time I watch a video of you and your husband sharing your journey, I am encouraged that Godly marriages exist. That God can bless us with a person even beyond our expectations if we choose to obey Him. I love the honesty of how nobody is perfect, everyone has their flaws pre and pro marriage but it is workable by the help of yielding to the Holy Spirit and understanding of each other. I just started watching this but I love that at least, there is someone who can relate because honestly, it’s easier said than done when “everyone” around you seems to be getting married or in a relationship and there isn’t anyone in sight 😂😂😂.
