i always think that something i make in 2 hours has to sound like the pros... im so dumb i must start thinking that it takes time and i should trust the process

You're not dumb 4 that a lot of us have that internalized feeling we just gotta get over it and let ourselves create 💪

sounds very sick. Awesome stuff. I am working on a song for about a year now and I always run into issues, because it doesn't sound complete and I feel like something is lacking, it's so worse.

The thing nick mira said that helped me a lot is to go into your daw and start messing around, no expectations of even starting something. Just go in and mess with vsts or settings you never use. In my case I also learned a few synths that I used to avoid.

i don't really understand why people delete beats if they got melody and drums done, i go back, change up sounds and some patterns and it turns out pretty good, sometimes..

Please make a video where you make a beat and cover on aspects of gain staging on the channel rack and leveling of the same track on mixer channel and all the way through mixing (creating headroom) and mastering (optimal LUFS for streaming).

Your mixing sound design and making music, I think if someone has beat block, they should stick to presets.
