I gotta say, the teaching thing is really true. I just did a remix recently and recorded the entire process for a KZbin playlist. My first time doing such a thing. I spoke my thoughts and process out loud and I actually figured some things out that I normally struggle with! I learned some things as well. Thinking out loud while you produce as if you are trying to teach someone I feel is very helpful to yourself and an interesting experience.
