If you need a power meter, Favero is extremely top end quality for competitive price

Almost a year late to the party....better late than never ;-) Best PM Pedals on the market. I have the road version for 4 years and the MX for about 6 months, never gettin anything else!

Totally off the point of the video but I heavily considered these pedals bc I really wanted to use a PM. I use my bike for all sorts of riding and lots of evening short road/gravel rides (5-7 miles), and don't want to use clipless unless it's for a specific longer ride. I chose for my 1x, Sigeyi PM spider + wolf tooth shimano chainring (better chainline) and has been awesome. Also a small bit of weight savings while you're at it (Sigeyi is 101g, my xpedo clipless pedals are 221g = 322g vs. 384g). Just something to consider for other riders out there who may want an alternative to pedal PM. Cost wise should be a little cheaper too iirc, just more work checking for compatibility and install.

I have run the Favero Assioma Duo on my Pinarello road bike for a couple of years and they have been flawless. They are absolutely the best in class and I would never consider running any other power meter. I just bought a gravel bike and am getting ready to pull the trigger on the MX model for that bike. The only thing that I am changing is going to a single-sided option for the MX pedals. While the dual-sided measurement is nice, for me and the type of riding I do, the extra cost is not warranted. If I were a manufacturer I would not even both trying to create a power meter pedal to compete with Favero, they are just too good.

They should bring the pod-less tech to the road side so we can swap them like we could with Garmin. I bought a Favero Assioma (for road) during the pandemic, and they are still working. Just needs pedal bearings to be replaced. But almost everything else is top notch! I only have good things to say. No idea why Hambini is trying to burn down a company as good as Favero. 🤷♂️

It’d be fun to try these, but I can’t get past the xtra stack height compared to an XT pedal. I like to be as low as possible on the bike, and this would require to push the saddle up ~5mm.
@66mikkim2 күн бұрын
What are you talkin about? Shimano XT pedals 16.5mm stack...the Favero MX 17.2 mm stack

I am sorry but maybe I missed this somehow. How can you tell the difference between the MX-2 and the MX-1? I don't think that is indicated anywhere. Thanks.
@GCPerformance18Күн бұрын
mx 2 is dual sided power meter that is 760 and mx1 is is single sided power meter for 500 they are represented by the red rings on the pedal spindles, the 2 have 2 and the 1 have 1

Would this work with Flight Attendant to access the adaptive ride dynamics feature of the flight attendant system. Or does one need the SRAM power meter to do this.

There's no prongs on the pedal itself. That is just the contact point. The prongs are on the charger. I have the road version and converted them to spd. I've used them off road for 2 years and haven't had a single issue.
