I don't know how policing is in Australia but here in UK cold cases like this NEVER go away and often waiting for the "right" type of detective to come along and take an interest in the case. 23:50: having a hard time believing that one. Maybe it’s true, but the chances of ALWAYS having someone you know drive by/walk by…and offer you a lift when you really need one…I dunno. Doesn’t seem possible. And isn’t exactly the definition of hitch-hiking. She knew the bus would be there soon, so maybe it was someone she knew. Or maybe someone pulled up, pointed a gun at her, and she didn’t think to run. ~*~*~ *ETA:* 25:00: 2 cars? This further makes me believe that she would accept a ride from a stranger. Maybe it was someone she had seen around town a lot, but she didn’t really know him…and just the fact that he was a local gave her a false sense of security. ~*~*~ No way would I be ok with a child of mine hitch-hiking. If there was any chance a work shift would run over the needed bus time, my child wouldn’t have that job. If I knew he/she missed the bus even once…and didn’t call me to pick her up…or didn’t call to let me know she was getting a ride home from a friend I knew…no way would she have that job. In fact, if she didn’t have her own car…or if I wasn’t available to take her and pick her up…I probably still wouldn’t let her have that job at 16.

Igrew up in Sweden with similarities in that geographical type of wildland with small towns as main town with schools, healthcare centres shoppingcentres and the larger grocerystores with smaller villages/towns at some distance that maybe had just a small grocery shop/gasstation with the basic neccessieties and tobacco so people frequently needed to go to the main town. The bus schedules weren't so frequent and departures were centred around school schedules and office hours and perhaps a two or three in midday and some later in afternoon/evening. There aren't that frequent schedule since there isn't that many people who live there. Me and my friends frequently hitchhiked when in highschool we were always picked up by someone fairly familiar.

Lee needed a smoke and knew she would have to wait 15-20 minutes before Tamara could give her one. She saw Davis outside the mall, asked him for one, which he gave her and then he offered to drive her to Maclean to pick-up Teri. There was no cannabis conspiracy, Lee would not have jumped into a car with Apps, knowing his background. Davis is your murderer - imagine telling her grieving father that he "didn't even have his car that day" for no reason at all.

This is so sad :( I think it's one or 2 of those persons of interest did it. It's just tragic that they can't prosecute them because there's no evidence, merely speculation and accusation from both POI. I feel so bad for Lee's parents. I hope they can at least find out and have justice for Lee before they pass. Too many parents of victims pass away not getting justice or knowing who did it. I hope someone who knows what happened at least grows a little bit of conscience and call the tip line. Maybe if there's a big reward? If their are suspects an expert could interview them at the very minimum. It may even be possible to get confession or leads this way. No voilence or threat is needed nor should it be. Science princia has some skills and tools in communication. Also truth through other expertize without harm may be possible. Just hope advances in our era streamlines data and interveiw techniques that matter. It would help if intelligence measures and critical skills are measured when hiring staff in jobs that desperately need such people. Highing on looks etc can costs us our outcomes...brains also matter.

So sad, the parents are so very obviously kind people. A lot of creepy men in that small town. And how do they keep getting released? Also, random but I had to replay the video a few times because I wanted to make sure I was hearing it correctly. Are people allowed to bury a loved one/body anywhere? I was taken back by the fact that she was actually buried in the spot that they had the memorial. In Canada you can sprinkle ashes in various places but a body can only be buried in a cemetery. 🙏🏻🕯️😢I dearly hope that the Stace family get the resolution they so dearly deserve 🤞🏻😢💕💕 This case is another perfect example of how one momentary release of control or sanity, allowing the person to do the murder, has such an impact on so many more people than just the person whom is murdered. This dreadful act has had an impact on virtually their whole town in some way. There's the family of course, then all the friends, the people who worked with Lee, Kylie or their parents. The neighbours who are scared, "is my daughter next?". The people who work at the school or any services & shops Lee went to. The people who were accused (whether true or false). Even now, anyone who comes I to Kylie's life, especially as a romantic partner, is affected in that she refuses to have children because of this. For once it was just fantastic to see someone ( Deborah Wallis) tell someone who’s displaying their tears & grief that’s is absolutely okay to do so ! Very kind & compassionate. So many people apologise for showing their tears & I’ve never understood why & why should they apologise anyways. I’ve never seen an interviewer show compassion or kindness or say it’s okay …..until now . People should always comfort a grieving person not just sit there like a dummy pushing the next question. If Lee's parents knew they're home was located by these deviant men they might have been more protective of their girls. A young girl hitch hiking and or being alone on the roads - not a good idea anywhere or at any time. It's looking like girls and women need to have some sort of personal protection at all times.
