Had a 3 and a half hour wait in glasgow this week after getting tipped in rutherglen I was told to go to smurfit kappa depot kinley park. Got to the gate at about 1:30 got on weigh bridge then told to go out and wait down road and phone you when ready. Really knackers you 'cos it was gone 5 when i left and of course the motorway is solid, only 2 hours of driving/working time left and the services and any possible lay-bys are filling up! Truckination requires the Truckinator! (Boots, clothes and motorcycle thrown in for good measure!) ps the destination for this load of shite was to their Kent depot over 400 miles away - booked for 10 am tomorrow - boy did I laugh! :)

I remember my instructor telling me if I don’t have a sore neck at the end of my test then I probably failed lol.

Same thing with the motorcycle test, use your head not your eyes. I had a very sore neck after my test lol, passed though.

The 4 M's my instructor said to me ... mirrors, mirrors, mirrors and more mirrors ... he's told me that I drive like I was born !!! To drive.... been driving class two for 15 years.... 8am tomorrow my test Eeeeek also told me passing pedestrians check when you pass them also check mirrors when passing vehicles larger than a sprinter van as you pass in the opersite side of road

Hi Kev even though I passed my test in Germany while I was in the Army we still had to do a written test, out of 21 questions the first 14 had to be right then you were allowed 3 wrong but not one after another.

Absolutely gutted... my test this morning 8am big accident on the A40 Wheatley, we were ((((8 mins late))))) and they said NO to me having my test.... have to rebook Friday the 13th of all days AND pay another £115 peeeeeeeed off

Me. l all ways look through both bus windows when l am away from my truck and you all ways see idiots not looking g through their mirrors they just pull out from filling stations and turning off main roads when using their mobiles and when they are reading the news papers

l have past all my HGV tests with out any fails l past on flying colours and my exzamenar asked me what caused me to pass l said the highway code on line and in the paper highway code book

so how many licenses you got trev i got 13 including instructor and examiner got mine in the RAF and i passed my HGV1 in 1972 and while i was in raf got rest of them including cat 2/3 and yes i still drive at 74 now you know but i am semi retired as well just passed my test get them every 6 months
