. This was quite a project. 2004 Suzuki LTA50. 2-stroke mini quad that was not running when we got it.
If you are having trouble with yours - confirm that the rear tether kill switch is closing properly. Mine was not. Even though the plug was inserted, the switch was not activated. So, make sure yours is actuating (you will probably hear a slight "click" when you push it in by hand.)
If it is not the rear parental kill switch preventing it from cranking (and you've tried everything else), try replacing the Primary Coil (near the Flywheel). You might be getting SOME spark, but it might not be sufficient spark to crank the motor. I replaced this part as well. www.ebay.com/itm/STATOR-FITS-...
Also, if you are removing the flywheel on a Suzuki LT-A50 2-stroke, and clutch from this engine, you will need both a 24mm x 1.0 flywheel puller, as well as a pulley holder of some sort to hold the flywheel still, and you will need a 36mm socket to remove the large nut on the clutch.
Also check the left side crankshaft seal. If it will not stay in place, just replace it. Do you have to remove the flywheel to access it.

A few things include: oil injection pump delete, carburetor tuning, air filter mount mod, left side crankcase seal replace, new chain, rims painted, flywheel remove, clutch remove, frame touch-up painting, new top-end, painted exhaust pipe, removed all engine performance restrictors, and more.
The previous owner could not crank the bike (and sold it to us for DIRT-CHEAP) due to a couple of issues, left side crank seal was worn out and would not stay in place. Also, the electrical coil was not performing normally to get adequate spark to the spark plug. It was getting SOME spark, but not enough. Replaced it. And the rear kill switch was not working properly either. Replaced it. This thing now runs like a complete champion. Still going to paint the rims, install all new fenders and plastics and graphics, and it should look and perform like a million dollars. Will be for sale soon as soon as we get it finished. It will not be cheap. lol Will have more videos of it coming soon. Feel free to post below if you have questions about this model or problems you have with yours. We will try to help you.

Also try spraying some Contact Cleaner / Brake Cleaner (or Starting Fluid) in the cylinder and see if it will fire.

Can you show me where the front wiring goes? I have a black and yellow wire and a black and white wire not hooked up to anything. I'm not sure what it is.

I bet it turned out great! I’ve gone through my grandsons like you said runs great but after 8-10 min I assume it heats up, it turns off? Let it cool 10 min fires right back up? Any suggestions? Thank you

The heat is damaging something relating to electronics. Coil, Stator, Spark Plug Wire, etc.

@@eescalante68 ON a 15-year old powersport vehicle - yes. Most any vehicle at 15 years old. Electronics in some form start failing.

I changed stator plug wire. It is running better. Thank you! Weird thing I never noticed the oil for fuel under seat seems to drip out? Whiles it’s running and when it’s shut off? I’m not sure if that’s normal I’m new at bikes, I thought that oil mixed with fuel. But it seems to enter the case from the right side and there is a line on the center rear and that’s the one the oil drips out of, but it looks greenish as it is in the tank.

You just put the clamp on? I’m having hell with a clean 2005. New carb installed and new ignition on the way so far..

That was a temporary/test fix. I got a new parental tether switch. Not very expensive online.
