There were a lot of such cars in the Iraqi army(1980-1988), because is was very reliable car and did not overheat in the summer heat , my father was a Soviet military adviser inthe Iraqi army during the Iran-Iraq war.

@@maikvonanhalt Always happy! Soviet gasoline engines GAZ-66 in Iraq were very hot in the summer, boiling, and the IFA diesel engine worked in the most intense temperature conditions.

@@maikvonanhalt If you are interested , the DDR received 141 tons of crude oil from USSR for one IFA W50 in 1975 and 33 tons in 1986.

@@А106-б8т I am wondering about this. Because the engine have a problem exactly about this. If the engine need to work hard, it will easy boiling. 😉 But its good to hear, IFA was not that bad 👌 You are russian?
