Compelling concept, an UL jig from you designed for bass, an LM-1 jig is thought-provoking but the concept of thin wire was precisely what draw me to your store, your thin wire ultra sharp hooks used on your jigs are the best in the market but new concepts are always welcome, as long as they work out that is. A LIGHT layer of unwaxed dental floss along a SMALL dab of Loctite gel is all I need for extra securing plastics on jigs, BTW, I love sarcasm.

Got my bg jigs in the other day and put the gold trout magnets on them. Took a while to get the twitch down. I was wanting to twitch very slow and let it sit cause i figured the fish wouldnt want to chase as much, but as soon as i kept it twitching i was catching on almost every cast. Crappies bluegill perch bass and even skipjacks. Youve opened up a whole new way of fishing to me very grateful thank you brother!!!

I enjoyed the video and your insight on jighead s and design of them. Where I fish is brutal compared to your open water places and the fine hooks work well but a bit tougher would have its place for me. Saturday I had several surprise sized fish that headed straight for cover and they had to be turned. I’m looking forward to my 1.5#8 as I use the bigger bodies some here in FL. And need every advantage I can get. Keep em comin Victor, you teach us well.

Nice 10” crappies LOL, I would definitely be interested in some Keitech made jig heads - are they just going to be for both 2” and 3”, I have caught bass jigging the Keitech fat impact 2.8” - hoping to experiment with your jig heads when they come out👍👊🎣

My vote goes to the second shank. I used Northland jigheads with double shanks using Gulp Minnows for years. Worked very well. Still had to bite off the Gulp after a few fish but definitely helped it from twisting/cutting from the jighead. You should super glue a second, shorter shank to your #8 BG-1 and see how it compares when using the Keitech
@ifishcatfish4 күн бұрын
yes.. shank doesnt rip the lure if it slides out, and keeps from twisting... To tell u the truth all i want is to add another micro barb on the bottom but that would have to come from the hook factory and my hook factory is in japan and this will increase the cost a lot.. If i just put some wire, like on the mule jigs, the jigs factory in china can do that at almost no extra cost, i am told

Have you ever seen or used the decoy plus magic jighead? For a lure keeper they put some thread followed by a small rubber bead to hold the lure.

not that.. i usually twitch those worms without a float... under a float i usually use smaller stuff. But if your fish is over 10 inches.. i don't see why not

Victor ,,,could u recommend a sturdy landing net for lake shore bank fishing for bass up to 4 pounds approx ….thank u..ps will bg1 as used here work for bass as well as crappie
@ifishcatfish3 күн бұрын
i don't have any experience with landing nets. This one is for carp fishing and 15 years old and i never bought one here from US. However everything i see seems very sturdy. As for BG-1.. the weight of the fish in not important, but how you fight it. I have landed on video many buffalo over 10 pounds, may drum 5-10 pounds, and once i got an 18-lb flathead on the 1g#12. If you play the fish and take ur time, u can land anything. But if your drag is sinched and you winch them out, i would say stick with panfish or juvenile bass

@@ifishcatfish Black Star rods are made in Japan by Xesta. I have one of the Solid Tip models, it has a silvery bling bling handle and glittery rod wrap accents. Pairs well with the 18 or 21 Diawa Caldia, I think I have both. I use this combination as a travel rod to fish a small private lake in VA that is full of hungry but stunted Panfish.
