I love the increasing instabillity and sickness in amir that shows when he receives the package. Instant mood changes both angry sad and joyous in just a few seconds. He really seems to gradually develop a broken mind and sould thoughtout the series. From just being childish and undeveloped from the get go - to sick and deeply unstable at the end. A shame this character ended along with the series. He has so many nuances and sides of himself by the end that are all equally exciting to explore. Basically the same goes for Jake, but in a more mild way, as he often functions as the straightman.
