Great info but please consider reducing the amount of vertical movement towards and away from the camera you engage. The constant focus shifting is headache triggering. If you needed it closer to the lens, consider propping it on a small stand for height, rather than jigging the item around constantly.

Wiha is higher quality compared to others. That said, it depends on what one wants in the tool.

Usually I don’t comment on videos, but I felt that this warrants one. I found your channel just last week, but it’s easily become one of my favorite channels, what with the fast, concise reviews, the high quality videos, and the great topics. Keep it up! I’m genuinely surprised that your channel, as of writing, has just under 3.6k subscribers. Absolutely incredible!

I have the same ifixit kit and it isn’t really aimed at portability they have a different set for that I find the lid of the case very useful to organise the screws in

yip you're right! I find these actually work moreso for grabbing from a cabinet or from a car.

I carry one with me in my backpack all the time. Doesnt take up much space. Also, its made for low torque, micro electronics repair. If you want more torque, grab a screwdriver.

I like Wiha and Wera's stuff for taking apart sensitive electronic equipment or working in central offices. My only problem I have ever had with Wiha is their 65 piece set (Wiha 75965 65 Piece System 4 ESD Safe), it kinda looks like the one you have but has the ratchet and some tiny sockets, the bottom of the bits had deep groves and some of the sockets were offset. It was off putting to say the least, so I gave it to my niece and she does her nerdy things with it. Gotta say very cool set otherwise and it hasn't broken on her yet when she takes apart old radios.

Yeah that one is $100 too! :D Wiha is like the Mercedes/BMW of screwdrivers. :P It's good but pricey haha

Wera actually makes a kit with a 4mm (microbit) driver and bits. It’s super hard to find, as it’s like a special edition thing, but I love how the Wera drivers feel. If you can find it, it’s a nice alternative to the kit of full-size screwdrivers for portability purposes

Is it the Wiha Tools 75097. I was thinking about getting it but there's like zero reviews on it :P. Edit: Oh wait you're talking about Wera.

@@DracomiesThe one I have is the Wera Easter Egg 2020, but I think they’ve made other ones. It’s cool, but unfortunately outside of those sets Wera never sells their 4mm bit driver

Finally, somebody dares to say it. I also think iFixit is crap. I‘ve got the large Set, I think it is called Manta and none of the Bits I used fit properly and I have destroyed multiple Screws and Bits while trying to loosen pocket knife screws. I think for most small Electronics it might be fine because the screws are less tight.

This is super helpful. I appreciate other reviews that try to inform you, but I always come away feeling unsure due to the way the info is presented. Your sheet of features really simplified everything, lol. I have a couple kits from some other companies and have had my eye on the ifixit for a while now as I keep finding myself having to repair small electronics (gamepads break down waaaaaaaaay too fast). I also find myself using individual screwdrivers too. It's faster in the end. I don't know if you've heard of the 7 hands? It's basically just Phillips and flathead but each one gets it's own arm that you can fold out. You then have the whole core of the screwdriver to hang on to which helps with torque. Gotta get the metal one though, the cheap plastic ones just won't cut it. Again, thank you. Time to check out wera and create my custom ifixit kit, lol

Yeah!! I find while it takes more time and 'can' cost a bit more, it's much better to create individual ones. My only gripe is that Wiha and Wera don't seem to make Security T6 torx, but they have everything else. But individual weighs lighter, has more tork and has better bits (if you choose them)@@PowerMechGuyTechMasterEarl

"Let's talk micro bit drivers" then compares them to Wera screwdrivers. Wiha also do the full range of mico screwdrivers.

My point is they're pricey. ie their security ones are $100++. Worth it though but I do address that as well in the vid. Edit: Oh wait you're talking about screwdrivers. You're right.

I quite like the iFixit and never had problems with their quality. Granted I never used it outside it's intended use case (electronics). But my main go to otherwise is a PB Swiss loaded with my most used bits and I never had a problem with that one.
