A 8 year old little girl once told me, I love my daddy and not you. I told her that I've been taking care of you and your mother for 4 years and I have never seen or met your daddy. Being a step father sucks, so don't do it. Thank me later.

Mm, honestly it’s difficult to handle. Kids say things but they don’t understand the full impact of their words. As they get older they may come to appreciate what a stepfather has done for the family. One of the best things a stepfather can do is to be a good father figure. Commendation goes a long way. Constructive criticism is important too. Providing is a given. There are no pats on the back for it. But it all comes down to how you want to be viewed by her. If one goes down the authoritarian route they risk never developing a bond of love. Children don’t have a say in who becomes their stepparent. They’re wondering what happened between mommy and daddy when all of a sudden a new person comes along. The prospective parent does have a choice. Try to imagine all viewpoints involved.

This is why it's so important that people think about the real reasons they are ending or walking away from a relationship. Many people have the "grass is greener" syndrome and don't even recognize it. Going back to the 80/20 rule, they miss out on the 80 they had in their current relationship while chasing the 20 in a new relationship and end up losing both. If this becomes a pattern, they may end up alone. 😔

Ladies pay careful attention to this part 55:30. The woman admits that she had a high value man but she didn't respect him enough to follow some of his simple requests. Come home at a certain time, don't go to another man's V.I.P. She refused to listen to him, but 3 years later now she says he was right and she wants him back. What younger, immature women think of as "controlling", when they're older they realize it's usually just a man "caring" about you and wanting you to respect the relationship. He was right along but she's blown her chance now. It's time to grow up ladies, otherwise you'll miss the boat. Unfortunately, a woman's looks are usually long gone before her immaturity and self-obsession start to make for the exit.

Wait a moment, friend. She wasn't younger, immature---she's 37 now, and she said this happened just 3 years ago. So at 34 she was destroying her relationship by insisting on staying out at parties, shaking her arse... and what do you think she was doing at those parties? Sucking it in bathroom stalls, banging in corridors, coming home without her panties... At age 34. And now that she's desperate her tradeoff is promising not to eff other guys. It's repugnant.

I met a woman years ago who played the field all her life. When I met her she was in her mid 50s and still looked ok for her age. She showed me pictures of herself in the early 90s and she was absolutely stunning. She said she use to cause traffic to slow/stop while walking down a busy street. It was true based on the old photos she showed me. As I said she played the field for so long that she never secured a good man. She got a thrill out of sexualy teasing men, turning men down sexualy and getting men to do things for her for free and she was quite good at it. When she did have sex she had sex with men who didn't care about her at all and she was a long time girlfriend to an alcoholic that she eventually became herself. I know this because she told me! Fast forward to when I met her she was a shell of her former self riding public transportation (the bus) living in the worse part of town inside the same home she grew up in that her parents gave to her after they died what was literally falling apart inside and out. She would have been homeless or living in public housing if not for her parents who left her that house. She also eventually kicked drinking which helped her considerably. Regardless, because she had no kids and passed up on her endless opportunities to find a decent man she is living the elder years of her life alone and will most likely pass away alone in that run down house in the hood. It's a shame.

My wife is going on a girls’ trip tomorrow. I came back from the gym this morning to find her ironing a week’s worth of my shirts to go along with all of the homemade meals she has packed into fridge and freezer so I don’t have to worry about cooking. She works full time too now that the kids are out of the house. To top it all off, she weighs 2 pounds above her college weight and looks great. I have NO problem with her buying another LV bag on 5th Ave with her friends - she is a high-value wife. I tell our son that if a woman isn’t as good as your mom, just pass on her.

Met my husband my senior year in high school when I was 18 years old. Been with him 20 years, I swear I am even more in love and sexually attracted to him now more than ever! He wasn't what some of these women consider "high value" back in 2002 but today my baby is an entrepreneur, has written, directed and filmed 2 horror films, bought me a house CASH 7 years ago (no mortgage), has retired me before forty. He still takes me on date nights once a week, we have meaningful discussions and he can't keep his hands off of me! He doesn't care that I'm no longer a size 2 or that I have stretch marks after birthing his children or that I'm 5'8 175lbs. He remembers what I looked like when he almost ran me over in the parking lot (that's how me met). Y'all better learn to stick with the man that loves, respects and appreciates you and stop thinking the grass is greener on the other side because it ain't! These women that call in are delusional!

@@jimmymagic7686 - I think you’re right. The more babies for different men, the more money from those men either voluntarily or under force of law. Plus welfare. So unlike previous generations unmarried women today can get by financially without a husband. But what they forget is that by their mid forties their children are grown and the state money and alimony will dry up. The irony then is that many of these same women who ended marriages and relationships in their 20s and 30s because of their man’s “cheating” then become, in their 40s, as their options close down … the “outside” woman. For reasons of both pleasure and some financial support. You couldn’t make this stuff up. It’s a sorry tale.

I watched this video with Jordan Peterson being interviewed by a f'inist and they were talking about that boys should be raised to be more feminine and in touch with their emotions. Jordan informed her that boys are more competitive and sociologists have been trying to come up with games that do not keep score. But when they stop keeping score, boys become less interested in the game. I just realized why women get mad when Kevin said to this lady, "This is how we keep score, by if you are married or not." Many women do not like keeping score of their personal lives.

This reminds me of an interview I listened to where this 45 year old woman was calling into this podcast (not this one another person) to talk about her dating prospects, or lack there of. She complained that the men were all 60+ that were interested, and it wasn't like they were going on trips and having fun.... sure, he was funding her as far as paying for food, her gas, rent because she was living with him, etc... but he was also an obese old man that was looking for more of a caretaker versus a girlfriend. She said she actually was repulsed by him, physically, and she described in great detail the sounds he makes and the medications and cleaning and stuff she had to do for him. She asked the host, what can I do?? He basically told her, ma'am, you're doing what you can do. If you could find a younger man with the same resources, you would, but you can't. You can leave him? She was quiet, she realized that nothing at all was keeping her there.... other than her desire to have his things. That desire in her 20's, all she had to do was spread her legs to get it. Now that she's older?? It's harder, now, you can't just lay there, you gotta wash shit stains out of the bed sheets and organize all his medication, help him lance his boils and wash those areas he can't reach. I'm happily married, god forbid if something should happen to my husband before me and I am left alone as an older woman? Damn right I am buying a cat and going out alone, I couldn't imagine doing those things for anyone else but my husband, you need love to get you through that kind of caretaking otherwise it's just hellish.

Yes Tatty, that's very hard for someone who's not your husband, or whom you don't love; and that goes both ways in life. What, when YOU are the 60+ year old and need care assistance? God willing, is there a "husband" there to love and care for YOU on such an avowed level??? God designed marriage for good reason. 2 together are always and in all life circumstances better than 1 alone! (Ecclesiastes 4:10 )

Depends on what the mom allows. As a mother of a 2 year old boy whose step father came when he was one, I will drill in my sons head early the 2 ways he will be disowned by me, and the first is coming out his mouth disrespecting the man who made the choice to take him under his wing. I will not allow it. Conversely, when it’s time for my son to be disciplined. I give him the respect and leave the whole vicinity until he tells me to come back. When I return I hear : “sorry mommy”. He will be chastised solely for disrespecting me and what I tell him to do and my husband will make sure he knows that each time it’s time for that discipline. Most times we hate even doing it but we know what we up against. We real with the situation. It took him seeing things for himself I’ll admit however. Btw, I am 25 years old. There are women of my generation who learn from others, ourselves and do try and right our wrongs despite past “mistakes” and perceptions. All while raising our men for their future wives, not ourselves. We exist.

You're doing God's work sir, thankfully things are slowly starting to rectify but tbh, I've all but lost hope especially for non white, westernized women. Some of us are lucky in the sense that we are from non westernized countries and we have the options to find our wives in our countries so I really feel for brothas out here that are born and bred in the diaspora. I said it many times but you guys, seriously, consider finding a non US black woman if that is something you are considering. There are so many and you are not limited to the US marketplace. Actually it's easy to see men in general, not just us black men will start to abandon westernized delusional feminist for women from other parts of the world. And let me tell you guys, with your income because dollar currency is stronger you will be a blessing to many non-western women who will appreciate you the same way she will also be a blessing to you.
