Look at Grand Theft Auto for example. There are a total of 8 main games in the series. The 4th and 5th games are Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, respectively. Something I really want from the Switch 2 is the ability to see how much space a game is taking without having to look it up on the EShop, which is unwieldy. Also, when an update for a game is downloaded, either manually or automatically, would be nice if it said what the update actually does. Want to be able to download DLC directly from a game, as opposed to having to access the EShop. Lastly, the Switch 2 is rumored to be larger than the previous models. If so, it’d be a real life saver to have more than one slot for storage drives. Being able to use 2-3 storage drives simultaneously, if at all possible, would be a total game changer.

It needs what the Wii U had because my goodness nobody but me and myself owned one yet it had the best Nintendo UI. Music is ESSENTIAL OK? When u start the console I want Mii's running again to trending games and chatting or drawing about it. And Miiverse that was so great, you had communities for each game making screenshots, videos u could reply and leave likes. You were able to chat with each other. Eshop had music that changed each season, also it wasn't laggy. The Switch UI is boring AF I remember only Sony and Xbox fans being satisfied with it because it was more ''mature'' but that's not Nintendo's philosophy and if U didn't own a (3)DS or Wii (u) u don't know what great UI's are. Hopefully the Switch 2 has all of it again and more

Definitely my game of the year and you nailed it when you said that the “padding” (and I would say side content such as minigames and side quests etc) gives you more of a reason - for those who want it, to stay in that world and I couldn’t get enough of it. it´s easy to get excited about the new switch, but remember, it´s not only the console you need to buy, it´s also the bag, the screen protector, the extra charging cable, the games etc, etc. I remember when I bought the switch oled I had to spend almost a thousand euro until I was all set and that is simply outrageous if you think about it. So much money just to play Danganronpa and Ace Attorney lol. I definitely won´t be buying the next switch.

2025 is going to be the biggest year of Nintendo since after 2017 when Switch was relased. In 2025 Nintendo's making Donkey Kong Country to be ready in Super Nintendo World, marketing Nintendo museum, relasing games like Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Pokémon Legends Z-A, Mario Kart 9 or X whatever it will be, but for me it's 9, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond, maybe The Legend of Zelda movie's ready and they will finally show the Nintendo Switch 2 that I still believe reveal happen in february or march when Switch turns 8 years old console and relase in june or july. Well 2024 was alright I guess since we got a new Mario Party and we have the comebacks of both Mario and Luigi and Epic Mickey. But I know I was hoping that this year we would get both remakes of Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot in a two-pack Collection and also having a remake of Tomodachi Life to come to Switch this year but it never happened and it's sad that we didn't get DLC for Super Mario Bros Wonder. So my predictions for 2025 are seeing what Switch 2 is finally gonna look like, Getting some new Mario Stuff and Games for Mar10 Day and Mario's 40th Anniversary like the next 3D Mario, Mario Kart 9 or X, Luigi's Mansion 4, A new Wario Land Game, a new Donkey Kong, a new Yoshi game, a sequel or a new Mario Super Sluggers, and a new Paper Mario game. They can show us what the next 3D Kirby game the sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land of what it's going to be like and maybe we could see King Dedede, Meta Knight, and (for the first time ever for being Kirby's new Allies) Clawroline and Elfilin being playable characters to go along with Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee and giving us new copy abilities and upgrades, new mouthful modes, and new lands to explore. They can show us that fake leaked 2D Kirby Game Kirby and the Celestial Star and telling us who this Susie-related Kirby female character Polly about how she got here and meet Kirby and if she is Susie's sister or something. We can get new games like Donkey Kong, Wario, Yoshi, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, and Punch-Out but I don't know. And I know a HD remake of Kirby Planet Robobot is coming to Switch next year but I'm not gonna buy it unless they can add Kirby Triple Deluxe with Kirby Planet Robobot and make it a two-pack Collection so then we would have all the Modern Kirby Games in one console so that would make me happy if they do that next year. And I do hope we get to see a remake or a sequel for Tomodachi Life come to Nintendo Switch and adding the Miitopia Mii Maker in it so then we would have both Miitopia and Tomodachi Life on Switch now that would be cool for next year. But yeah I hope next year will be good for Nintendo since they will show the next console the Switch 2 and do something special for Mario's 40th Anniversary so I can't wait to see what they're gonna do for next year I can't wait.

Their success is that these games are maybe not top-league in case of graphic but they are really enjoyable - I mean by gameplay and storytelling. Plus, plenty of Switch games are released on cartridges and do not require „day 0” patches - they don’t have bugs like PC games.
