I don't remember hating the controls, but I had the circle pad attachment thingy. that might have improved it quite a bit. I thought it was an excellent game, I think I gave it about 200 hours. Online battling was fun as hell!

lee gaming Yep, that was one of the main things i really didnt like about the game. The story felt a little lackluster in the beginning and middle (the end was fantastic though, I've never expected those twists). What made me want to keep playing however were the CHARACTERS. I haven't seen such charming characters in a very long time. I honestly cant explain it, they just were. Their interactions felt so genuine and real, and their personalities were so likeable, especially Reyn heheh. After all, cant spell a reynbow without reyn! Oh well, thats just what I thought.

Fantasy life is so underrated.. The tutorial is quite long and slow, but once you get past it so many hours with great gameplay awaits. Even if you won't like the story their's so much more to do in the game.

The story was actually not that bad especially when you compare it to the previous fe games. It was the first installment in a very long time that actually changed things up a little. But the real problem was the awkward, disjointed, forced character interactions that literally took away from everything else

Fates is at least consistent with its plot quality, Awakening had a pretty engaging start but after the timeskip and especially Lucina's identity reveal everything just nose-dived so hard i put the game down for a few months until coming back and finishing it.

+Vitor Borges Debatable. The plot progression in Fates and Awakening are vastly different. Awakening had 3 story arcs while Fates had one long one. What made Awakening's story more appealing however was the overall flow of the plot and how the story arcs blended together ("Marth appearing from the beginning and warning Chrom of the future, how Valm was trying to stop the resurrection of Grima, etc). Since Fates didn't have multiple story arcs it had nothing to blend and therefore a lot of the missions just didn't seem memorable which ended up taking away from appeal of the plot. It's consistent because it isn't adventurous. Nothing of importance really happens for most of the story. That being said I have to reiterate that even though I love Fates, the character interactions, both in the story and the support conversations were a HUGE step down from Awakening. All of the support conversations were so damn generic so most of characters (playable and not playable) were just forgettable and straight up boring. Every time I comment about Fates and its flaws I have to bring this up because it was so god damn bad and as huge fan of the series it just....hurts to look at

I can never understand how simple (yet good) puzzle games can be ahead of games like SMTIV or ZTD. They are fantastic but i don't feel they should even compete in the same "category", or they would at least be on the bottom behind games with real depth, narrative, etc.

Link Between Worlds totally deserves to be at the top of that list but not because it's a nostalgia trip. As someone who didn't play Link to the Past as a kid, Link Between Worlds is so much more than a nostalgia trip. I find it very unfair towards the game to define it by that and then mention its great game design as a plus on the side, should be the other way around.

Fire Emblem Awakening was my favorite and most played of the few 3DS game that I have played. However, one of those games I've played was The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and I cannot deny that it is the best 3DS game.

Whatever you like. Personally in S&M I didn't see much of a reason to keep on playing even after I have beaten the game. Normally I like to do competitive battles online. But S&M didn't really want me playing Online competitive. I'm also a shiny hunter and there are only 2 reliable ways to shiny hunt in S&M. And while you could technically chain fish, the new random items you get if you do, makes it impossible. Overall I don't like S&M that much. But I did LOVE the story and I am replaying it for a 3rd time. Just because the story is that good.
