Well the Sanctuary is a big step up from Fable 2's menu. Not only was that menu slow, it also was tedious to maneuver through.

@Robotoh Considering the fact that they fixed it so you can just select which type of weapon you want displayed to look at on those 4 different statues I don't think you will have any trouble there.

@KiraPhusion yeah that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this sanctuary place. One of my favorite aspects of Fable 1 and 2 was being able to switch things up on the fly. Oh well. Give and take, I guess.

@100crackfisting By 'cap' he's refering to the maximum amount of damage you can do. So with no cap you can charge your attacks as long as you like and the longer you charge them the more damage you will do. All your attacks have the potential to be infinitely powerful.

For this game to be really great, they need to take the best parts of fable 1, the best parts of fable 2, add all this new stuff they seem to be cookin up(except for the wardrobe room and the stuff with items on shelves in shops) and put all together.

@jacody6991 Yeah I saw the gauntlets in a video with Molyneux while he was talking about the new sanctuary pause menu. The spell weaving part of it is, for the most part, the only really different bit from Fable II; they still have the crappy, repetitive target/area system for the spells instead of having things like the continuous lightning or maybe some of the physical spells from Fable I.

Anyone else think the menu lacks the efficiency it once had? I mean, in Fable 1 and 2, changing your clothing was simple as selecting 'Clothing -> and whatever you wanted', but now, You have to walk around in some sanctuary to pick what you want. Not saying it'd be difficult, just time consuming. Anyone agree?

I have a feeling that there's gonna be a lot of "...just like Fable II..." in this game. I wish they would change the magic system from Fable II, and add a damn final boss fight. Either way, it's still gonna kick ass just like the first two did. Fable is an amazing series.

dam very nice change of structure here. that Sanctuary is kinda creative here in this case. made me go woah thats different. and then structure about leveling weapons rather then the charcter is good aswell. i hope they somhow make it more challenging for high level chacters because i rember before in fable 2 i just had to save alot of money and buy a really expensive sword and i kept it for the whole time through.

@DrJDoubleM if you feel like using the pause menu once every couple of hours it will be great. But it is an RPG, items and clothing should be easily accessible. From what I've seen, it looks like it will take ages to switch out a couple of items. The idea is nice in concept, but looks like a massive pain in practice.
