@@LaughingMan44 The reason for that isn't because tripple a studios are somehow incapable, it's because they have to serve the mass market and the mass market is people who have no idea about mostly anything. The amount of people who care about historical accuracy is... small. People have all kinds of wrong ideas about things in their head and then if something comes out that is actually historically accurate, instead of saying "huh, I didn't know it was like that, cool!" they'll say "that's wrong and it sucks and I dislike this." I remember in older movies they used to clap coconut halves against each other to mimic the sound of horse hooves trampling about and people got so used to that fake horse-coconut sound that when a movie actually featured the real sound, people were put off by it. If you don't deliver on certain ideas that people carry around in their heads about certain settings, then there's a big risk that the average person just won't like it and your several hundred million dollar game will just flop. I'm sure plenty of people didn't want to play the first KC because it didn't have magic or whatever.

I've beaten Days Gone 4 times now, with lots of wandering around pranking the zombie hordes. It scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Just want to ride my bike out there and see what comes up.

@@zeedor9049 I respect your opinion, but it has 93% on Steam at like 70k ratings. Statistially speaking, it was a massive success with gamers.

Well they make it easier in the first game way back in 2019 so I guessing it easier than it was at least at release

Classic IGN review "In classic sequel fashion you get knocked down a peg" "This is refreshing" How can it be refrehsing if it's something that happens in so many sequels? 🤦♂
@lorddiethorn11 күн бұрын
No In a lot of sequels you lose your gear. Not your stats. In this game you actually get hurt and have to work to regain your stats

Yeah. in the first game, Mutt (the dog) has ran after and killed rabbits for me. And really helped me in early combat when Mutt bites at my opponent’s arm and gives me a free hit on the opponent. You can expect the same and more in KCD2

Hopefully the optimization is better this time around, I’ll be buying regardless cause their first game helped me through a lot

I ask you player to please, if you got the time, try to play KCD in hardcore mode, it is harder, but that mode it's one of the most immersive experiences that I've had in an RPG. Waiting on KCD 2 to play it on hardcore again.

Here's the reviewer, going on about how the new combat works, and all I'm doing is going, "Wait, is that Mutt? It is! Mutt!!". The hell with combat, apparently, Mutt and Pebbles have returned.

You must be trolling. The Royal Edition with all DLC is like 2€ on sale. How did you manage to buy first a base game and THEN dlc, which is much more expensive when bought separate? You must be "smart" as hell. And we should trust your taste in games then?

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was a victim of its own brilliance. It was undeniably amazing but a bit exhausting. I felt like I was putting in the same effort to learn how to use a sword in combat as someone who eas learning how to use a sword in combat. Because of the difficulty I feel like that we were let down and didnt experience a great game that should have been spoke about like Skyrim. I dont think they'll ever get the momentum deserved for this game but I do hope that they've done enough for us all to go "wow". Less people played San Andreas than GTA 5 but everyone now looks back understanded its brilliant.
