I'd argue it's more on The Pokemon Company. They are the ones making GameFreak release mainline gamed almost every single year. The hardware is not the same as it was the DS/3DS games. Pokemon Switch games need to be made with more time and what happened with Sword and Shield's development was proof of that. But it seems like TPC didn't get the memo.

This game was ment to come out before Pokemon legends arceus. PLA had better game play, your character can walk around while in battle. Catching and battling Pokemon system is way better . Fighting frenzy and boss Pokemon , dodging thier attacks. Even filling up the Pokedex was really unique in Pokemon arceus.

Violet and Scarlett needed another 6-months at the earliest before being released don't blame the developers the blame lies on the producer pushing out ready for Christmas

Literally the only thing that runs smoothly in this game is the countdown timer in the tera raids, which continues to count down during lengthy animations, text dialogue, and random starring contests between your pokemon.

There’s such an interesting and beautiful world underneath the seven inches of shitty, morphing textures that makes it all the more sad. And Pokémon having discerning textures for fur, scales, etc. is awesome as well. But Game Freak needs to perform the mother of all miracles in washing away the crud they so readily shipped as being a completed game.

They’re speaking about story, characters/character depth and development, gameplay, exploration, etc. With a proper performance patch, this game would retain the enjoyability of PLA (another game without the greatest graphics) but with actual multiplayer.

It’s nice to see someone putting just the right amount of attention on these issues that the games are clearly having, without losing themselves in hyping up the things that do work to such an extend that the bugs and glitches seem like no big deal in the grand of things. this game while still fun and has alot of great new additions..... is clearly rushed and VERY VERY lazy. every gym has the exact same lobby and not as interesting as the past games... most of the buildings you cannot enter and is just rabbit holes. terrestrialize is a lazy replacement for gigantamax and mega evolutions. and worst is the lazy and buggy graphics.
