I refuse to accept that it's all some big coincidence that these movies end up this awful. It's Sony. This guy directed A Violent Year and All is Lost. He definitely knows how to tell a story. Sony tries to make movies the way Marvel does, by reshooting and rewriting last minute in the editing room. They cannot do it. Hell, Marvel can barely do it anymore. The biggest issue with Kraven was wrong casting and wrong scripts and poor presentation of Character, personally Jason Momoa looks like carbon copy of Kraven. Aaron is great actor but doesn't remotely fit the aesthetics of Kraven, he looked like a pretty boy in the film, rather than animalistic and tactical hunter.

I generally believe that 1's and 2's are for movies that are borderline broken or unfinished. Like, I'd have to see unfinished visual effects, bad audio, rampant continuity errors, messy editing... a 3 was about as low as I could go for a movie that I could spot mistakes like that in.

please ignore me, idk why I wrote this, I haven't even seen the movie. if your still reading, this is my idea of a kraven story and sorry I'm tired. Movie starts with him speaking to a few wolves in the woods with the question, how did we end up here? the boys are reluctant 'kinda wealthy' kids get into a fight with a couple of ruffians from a rival mob. younger son punks out while older steps up. dad sees or hears this and sends them to "man up" by sending them to Africa to train with a tribe that hunts lions connected to the mob somehow, probably animal trade. He may knows its not hunting seasons around the tribe so they will just be going to train. they go and in the off season, they find a large lion alone which then slays younger brother and take a bite out of him but he blasts it and it falls down atop him, leaking everywhere. he is taken back and they do some African magic, they can tie some hero like vixen (or parents) as a tie in. (or nubia or a villain like gorilla grodd) in and give Halle Berry another movie to be hot in. (my vote) dad was trying to teach sons how to be a man. this action endangers sons but "be a man" is more important so he cant apologize which builds resentment. he says as much to older when visits in hospital before he passes back out. he up, get the strength of a lion, recovers and goes to work hunting the dad, taking people out and adjusting to his strength. the bond has to be well delivered to emphasize the hurt. as he steps into the boss gates, he is quickly beat by "the rhino", the dads right hand muscle. he wakes in a lab being tested on, the through this, he find out his father runs an animal testing facility for evil reasons. dad says they will just drain some blood for tests and dumps him in prison after to cool off. he tries to break out and learns more about using powers, commanding the animals in his attempt. even 2 lions would do. at the end when confronted by blasters, he stands down and displays commanding powers to dad. dad sees and needs this as weapon. it establishes dad as a minor king pin and can somehow tie into Ozcorp later for the spiderman and goblin tie in. taken to that prison as "there are no lions in prison", he is drugged and restrained but uses power to get wildlife to slow vehicle transports like moose running across road. wolf ambush. vehicle is wrecked but and prison is closer, where the story picks up from the beginning scene. so he goes to steal vehicle and gets snuck and KO'd. he wakes up after having a dream and decides hes done loosing, during a blizzard he howls and summons the wolves to raid the base or prison. he brakes out and adopts a style of combat that protects and mirrors the wolves. he has unlocked the eyes and other senses. if we want to have a pov or sensory scene that would happen here. dad is on a hunt in jungle or savanna and doesn't here of this. son does the thing to the poachers in the trailer, fights "the rhino" then in the end, while the dad hunts the lion, son hunts him. could end there or dad could have juiced. he also could be left for dead but regenerate in after credits. he can be black tarantula if we must.

Even the Venom movies are not great examples of script that appeals to comic fans. The writers at Sony should never have been given this opportunity to make movies. They dont know anything about these characters and certainly took way too many liberties with the source material. These characters tend to be simple in comics. There is no reason to go any deeper than a five minute origin and then have a current day story for the majority of it. Vulture worked. Kraven doesnt.
